Lito Beach Hotel

The hotel is beautiful, the pool is excellent, the beach is within walking distance, and the location is convenient. 1. Wi-Fi: As visitors, we relied on the internet for Google Maps, directions, and planning our daily trips. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal in our apartment was extremely weak (usually only one or two bars) and very unstable. We reported the issue several times. We were initially told that "the internet is not for watching movies," even though we only needed it for basic browsing and navigation. The router in our apartment barely worked. We were later told it had been fixed, but the problem remained the same—it would work for 20 seconds and then disconnect for several minutes. After multiple reports, we were simply told that nothing could be done. 2. Traditional dance event: On our last evening, there was a traditional dance event. We were invited to sit and watch, but when I brought my own bottle of water, a waiter told me it was not allowed and that I had to buy drinks from the bar. We were leaving shortly anyway, so it wasn't a big issue. We also noticed a sign showing an entrance fee of €24 per adult and €12 per child. I was surprised, as I had assumed activities organized within the hotel for guests would be complimentary, or at least that the entrance fee would be made clear in advance. 3. Check-out experience: During check-out, the interaction felt less welcoming because we had not purchased meals or drinks from the hotel during our stay. In front of my wife, we were asked whether we had paid the local tax, even though this could have been easily verified in the booking system. It left us with the impression that guests were expected to spend additional money at the hotel rather than simply enjoy their stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet and clean.

Beautiful quiet hotel with amazing gardens and views. everywhere is full of green - the trees, grass, and colorful flowers really make this place a great hotel to stay with your family. The children had a lot of space to run around and play in the grass. The new renovated rooms are great. The pool area is so nice and calm to hang out all day. The staff was really nice and helpful The old rooms upstairs had an air conditioning unit only in the children's room, and the parents' room was hot like a sauna. But the staff was really nice and helped us solve this issue. The breakfast was a bit too simple, with not much variety.

We had a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious and had an amazing balcony with views of the sea and mountains. The pool and beach area was beautiful and quiet with plenty of beds and trees for shade. The front desk staff were so helpful, booking taxis and helping arrange great day trips. Nothing was too much. The location was great for us with quiet restaurants close by but the option of walking to Platanias or getting a bus to Chania for something busier.

The hotel is small and peaceful but beautiful and in a great location to explore local restaurants and the beaches of Chania and the West, South West and North Coast. As a family of 5 ( 2 adults, kids 7, 12, 14) we found the rooms to be modern and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day. The grounds are immaculate and there were always sun loungers free near the pool and on the small beach ( the beach is literally 1 minute from the pool). Most of all the staff, without exception, are so warm and friendly and have created a special family atmosphere with a personal touch. Their recommendations for local beaches and restaurants we really helpful ( and accurate). The Wifi was also excellent. We honestly couldn't recommend Hotel Lito more - incredible value for money. Nothing - the hotel suited our needs perfectly. There was literally nothing that we didn't like about Hotel Lito. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 11 days, 2 adults and 3 kids . The best thing in this hotel is Alina- she was caring, helpful, and always on top with a fix. The hotel is not too big, there is a restaurant and a kid friendly pool (dont expect Olympic one). Nice beach. Bus to chania and restaurant in the area. Lidl 1 km away. The hotel area is clean. Great VFM. Wifi was really weak. If you like to be at the tourist center, this is not your place. If you like to calm down this is it.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was large enough and had a nice balcony. Pool was good for families with children, nice and warm. The beach next to it was also lovely. Nice breakfast variety. We got a 1 bedroom apartment instead of 2 for first night and aircon didn't work. They didn't notify us the day we arrived about neither of those, as we arrived later due to delayed flight, they only responded that day that they will leave key for us at the door. Next day they fixed the problems and we got what we reserved with a working aircon. At first days they didn't want to compensate that, but later they offered a free meal no matter price, that was nice of them. Kitchen could benefit from more utensils, salt-pepper and at least a small amount of coffee, sugar and coffee whitener considering they have a coffee machine.

We, family of four, stayed 7+3 nights. Perfect location, quiet and calm a bit away from noice and crowds. Super clean and staff friendly and supportive. Beautiful garden and the proximity to ocean and pool was perfect. Will return for sure! See you next summer. In our case the smaller challenge we had with extra bed and A/C was well handled so no need for any complaint (thank you Alex).

What a beautiful hotel! These pictures don't do justice to it. Beautifully maintained gardens, nice spacious rooms (we had a 2-floor apartment with kitchen and 3 balconies), so perfect for families. Very peaceful. Beautiful restaurant and pool area, with a beach on one side and mountain backdrop on the other. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Missed a bigger selection of fruits for breakfast (oranges were served which are delicious in Crete). Also the area on both sides of the hotel (outside of the hotel area) was not maintained - just some bushes and tall grass.. But these things are rather minor and we have otherwise really enjoyed our stay

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt welcome and they helped us booking all activities and taxis. They also provided beach towels, what is nice. Not clean, the curtain of the shower had mold on it. The room wasn’t cleaned throughly after the cleaning lady was there. The pictures of the room are completely different and it wasn’t comfortable.
