Frriendly proprietor, lovely facility. I was not able to fully meet the request to go shoeless, because of a medical condition that requires constant arch support. I did remove my boots as requested and wiped off the soles of the sandals I wore indoors.

Excellent location, comfortable and quirky Unfathomable electrics and quite expensive for a B&B

The room was very nice. The room was warm and clean. Nice variated breakfast. 5 min walk to the city center. Buses and trams stopped close to the guest house. A bit too hard matras, but everyone has their own taste in it.

Room was interesting. Breakfast was great and the location was next to perfect. Room had charm but was very impracticable. No storage or surfaces on which to leave stuff

I was disappointed to learn that we were not allowed to wear our shoes past the entryway. I would have liked to know that in advance and would have considered staying elsewhere. I have plantar fasciitis and walking barefoot is painful. It would have been nice to have more hooks for coats, scarves, towels, etc.

Room was really nice. Historical theme in the room is really good idea considering that Gent is historical town. Room was nice size and heating was heated room really quickly. Location really good. Breakfast was really bad. Many products with expired date, smoked sausage inedible wich was the only meat we had available. Only pastry was fresh from the bakery. We wasn't allowed have shose on, but the problem is that they didn't give as slippers so we had to be bearfoot all the time.

Our room.waa simply stunning, it was a privilege to stay in such a place. The tea and coffee making facilities could have been better, milk, sugar etc..

Excellent location, close to all attractions Stayed in the Japanese room and it was small. Translucent doors in shower area and toilet area did not help.

The room was very spacious and clean, nicely furnished (lounge area, king size bed, nice bathroom etc), breakfast is included and the host ensures you have all what you need (fresh croissants, breads, a changing variety of cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit, coffee and thee cart etc....), and you can't get a better location smack in the center of the city -- if you wish public transport is easily accessible and there are 2 parking garages close by where you can park your car if you arrive by car. There is nothing to report here. I had a most wonderful stay. My room was at the front of the building and some people may have issues with traffic, however you can close the window and the noise is reduced to a minimum. (I had my window open at all times and all was perfectly fine.)
