Antonio, was very helpful with information about local attractions. He took our luggage early so we could go light to nearby Taormina.

Antonio is an exceptional host, one of the most helpful and accomodating in my experience. He arranged a kettle and tea making facilities after I asked for this and shut off a faulty AC unit that was making a noise at night. He went out of his way to provide information regarding shops, restaurant and travel options. The room is basic but has the facilities you need and the bed is comfortable. The location is some distance away from shops etc and the busy road to those has no footpath which means you need to use the car to get there.

Host Antonio is very nice person, gave us advises about Etna, about sport shop, about routes and volcanoes etc. Hotel is in very quiet neighborhood, you can park you car on the very quiet street just behind the gates or use garage for free. Antonio took us very good mangos from his garden (didn't know that mangos grow in Sicily). Very good value for money, we booked this accomodation for 2 nights, but then stayed for 2 nights more. Very good location to explore this part of Sicily - 45 min to Rifugio Sapienza (Etna South), 41 min to Rifugio Citelli (Etna North), 30 min to Taormina, 40 min to Alcantara Gorge, 1 hour to Syracuse, 1.5h to Cassibile Canyon. So every evening of our stay we felt like we return home here. And from terrace you see Etna! So you can see what conditions are right now there, if it is cloudy or raining etc. Just one minor thing - pillows were not very comfortable for me.

Overall, I cannot recommend B&B CasAnsaldo highly enough. The combination of beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a trip to this beautiful city, be sure to book a stay at this wonderful B&B. Nothing. My stay at B&B CasAnsaldo was perfect in every way, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, the service was exceptional, and the overall experience was truly memorable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area.

Great host, comfy room, really cozy neighborhood Kitchen is off-limits to guests most of the day. Would be great to allow using the stove/kettle not just for the breakfast - this would've considerable value to the stay.
