Pesona Beach Resort & Spa

Nothing It was a nightmare. My friend and I strangely booked rooms for the following weekend by mistake. Booking allowed the property to change dates but the hotel did not want to. I booked elsewhere but my friend took a room and they charged him DOUBLE, a room which would have surely been empty. The cafe at the property made several mistakes on our drinks and breakfast was terrible, seriously, book elsewhere.

Nice room and location promoted sauna felt bit like scam- no times to book but always empty. I booked my room because i thought i could use the sauna, but someone is standing there watching when you take the sauna and always comes to let you know that there is a booking.. but sauna still stays empty for the rest of the day :D what a joke, sort your joke out.

Pool and rooms were exactly as the pictures. The staff was excellent. Their restaurant as always full, they have the best Indian food and hookah in the island. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to stay in the main activity center of the island. Pesona is in the middle of all the great bars, restaurants, spas, diving centers, beach clubs. The location is perfect for anyone who prefers lively, fully of fun, loud spaces! Nothing.

a. Staff was very courteous and warm and made your stay comfortable - they gave us an upgrade as our room was too noisy due to main-street location (no fault of the resort, its just in the heart of the party area). b. Location is GREAT is you want to party, eat, chill and be in the active area of Gili / But it is a little far from good snorkel spots (20 min walk) and its own beachfront is on the harbor so you'd have to walk 1 km or so to enjoy good beach time. c. Food is good, especially if you want Indian food. d. Breakfast availability till 3:30 PM is perfect for people looking to sleep in till late. e. They help you readily with activity booking, e-bike etc. at great prices so you don't have to haggle in the streets. a. Monday nights a terrible to sleep in as the club right next door plays loud music till 3AM. But if you want to party, good for you. We learned that late-night parties are rotating between clubs so any place on the east will have this issue atleast once a week. b. Other nights are no problem, but it gets quiet only after 1AM. c. Felt a little on the expensive side for the facilities/room. d. The pool is too full of chlorine so its no use tbh.

The standout for me was the staff. Every local/Indonesian staff member I interacted with over my two-week stay was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful—they really made the experience. The resort itself is everything exactly as expected (or better), and it represents great value for money. The Indian cuisine is very good. It’s right in the heart of the party area. That can mean noise at times, but it’s more of a trade-off than a fault of the resort itself and if you are up for a party or two you are in exactly the right place.

The staff was so helpful and supportive. Set me up with a private tour which was phenomenal!! Breakfast was lovely and there for you til 3:30p. (For those who stay out late lol) The pool right outside my doors was a great thing. I could cool off and then go straight to my room. Loved it! Wish the spa was open a little later and/or opened a little earlier

To Noisy outdoor

Super hotel in a perfect location — just a short walk from the harbour so we didn’t need to use the horses, which we really appreciated. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed, and a special mention to Erma and the team managing WhatsApp for patiently answering all my messages ? We even got a free room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! The breakfast was good, and it’s a big plus that the hotel has its own restaurant. The only downside was that they were renovating the hallway to our room, so there was a strong smell of fresh paint and quite a lot of noise during our stay. They provided free earplugs, which was thoughtful and shows they’re aware of the noise from nearby bars as well. Since it’s low season, I understand it’s the best time to renovate.

The fact that breakfast is served until 3 p.m. was a real highlight for me, especially with the breakfast room offering such a stunning view. The location near the port was another big plus, truly just a two-minute walk, which made a huge difference since I was traveling with large luggage. The staff were very friendly, and the room was excellent.

Huge should out to Ari for making our stay incredible!The rooms are spacious and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Breakfast has a few options which are all tasty. The Azure Spa onsite was wonderful. I had a massage and hair treatment. I loved how close Pesona is to the main pier where our ferry came in. It was just a few minutes walk. I loved it all - would definitely stay here again!

The spa had great staff and my massage and foot treatment was excellent. Not a Resort Experience at All This place should not be called a resort. It’s more like a spot for young people who just want to party and don’t care how the place looks or smells. The rooms smelled like mold, with black residue in the bathroom and sour, musty towels. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything from the next room, the bars blasting music until 3 a.m., and then roosters and prayer calls early in the morning. Breakfast was also disappointing. There were very few choices, and we had to wait 55 minutes for toast and eggs. When they finally arrived, the server was rude and unpleasant, which made the experience even worse. Overall, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. If you want a real resort experience, stay at Cocana Resort instead — that’s a true resort.

Great location if you want to party, close to the pier also which is ideal when arriving and leaving. Friendly staff and great food

Helpful friendly staff. Allowed us to stay an extra night with short notice. Easy to deal with. Brilliant location. Good breakfast. Nice bedroom. Got a free massage! Staff organised our snorkelindg tour! Would 100% return.

Great location near shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, and the pier from the ferry is about a 5 minute walk. Staff super friendly, great pool in the back, great spa, cute cats all around, very good breakfast, restaurant and bar in front was good too. You can’t swim in front of the property because of the coral so you have to walk down the street. The pool in the front was for scuba diving lessons so you couldn’t really use it, but that was fine because the pool in the back was awesome and they even had floats and would bring drinks to you at that pool or meals from the restaurant. There is a bar next door that kept my friend up all night from the music. They did warn us when we checked in about the noise and offered us a free massage each which was nice. Gili T is a small island with lots of partying so that might be the same for all hotels I’m not quite sure.

Location closer to the beach and the harbor, friendly staff The towels had a bad smell and during the nights the music from the closest bar is very loud

We were met with a welcoming drink, a great three bed room with nice beds and pillows. We got a complimentary massage with our stay that was amazing - one of the best massage place in Gili - so you must try. Amazing location on the main road next to the see, although a little noisy. The had a jungle party next door so loud music but they provided earplugs. You can rent bikes outside and please try out the indian place - one of the best food during our trip. Breakfast was also very good. A great value for money - would stay there again. Noisy, but they proved earplugs and I don´t think the jungle party is every night.

Location Very noisy, curtains dont block lights so when the sun is out you wake up, got charged 5 dollars for a glass jar that contained earplugs which doesn’t cost 0.25 cents

Near to the harbour and market too.the reception person were very helpful The restaurant manager was not good he denied us the floating breakfast even after receiving confirmation from the management by giving false reasons

The staff were incredible. It was close to everything. The rooms and bathroom were a great size. The spa was lovely. It was incredibly loud at night (walls shaking from night club next door). We did get moved to another room which was a bit better. In both rooms and each day the towels smelt really bad.
