Vila Ombak Hotel

Best location on the island by far with great staff and beautiful villas ! We loved our stay at Gilli T mostly because if the resort itself !

Service charge for room service, never been charged before.

Location was excellent, close enough to walk to the busy areas but far enough away for some peace. Buffet breakfast was excellent with one caveat. The hidden pool was our choice during the day, never more than 6 people there at any time. The breakfast caveat, only one coffee machine for all guests. At peak times (08:00) you could easily Que 10 mins plus for coffee. One maintenance issue was hard not to notice, the deck boards around both pools had insecure ends sticking up in multiple places. Frustrating because a tradie with a cordless impact driver and a pocket full of screws could have secured all of them in an hour. Very odd because there were workers onsite renovating some of the villas and huts during our stay.

Property has the nicest staff, amazing breakfast and food, and the rooms are very spacious!! We had to ask for the room to be cleaned, but then it was spotless!

Great pool area. Location was fantastic. A little pricey for this island.

Big rooms, newly renovated rooms (garden terrace), cool AC, quiet, good location It’s a big resort so a bit of a walk just to get out from yout room to the hotel lobby and vise versa

The only problem we had was the fact that our balcony area was not cleaned, and room service plates weren’t taken away leading to a flies and birds coming around. We asked for the room not to be cleaned since we slept in most days, however we had to ask to get our plates taken away, and they weren’t. Other than that, amazing resort.

The people are absolutely wonderful. The room was very modern. The bed was so comfortable. I slept very well. I can't say anything bad about this

Everything was great, I didn't like seeing those horses pulling carts with heavy luggage, one of the locals told me they only did it for two hours then they changed horses, felt a bit better until I saw them carrying heavy building materials

I didn’t love that the door is glass but the tinted windows and curtains make it feel safe.

The pool was beautiful and bigger than the photos show. The rbeakfast had enough options to cater for our whole family. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. They organised a speedboat from outside the resort for us straight to Lombok. IT was perfect! on our last day we went snorkelling right out the front of the resort and saw so many deifferent fish, the kdis especially loved seeing Nemo and Dory!

Great location with the beach right in front of you. Not too much of a walk from the harbor either so you don't need to get on the horse carts. Great estate with lots of space and things to do. Special mention for the restaurant which serves amazing food.

One of the best possible stays on the island of Gili T. The estate was huge and still close to the beach. There were multiple pools and areas to lounge and chill in. The restaurant was amazing with a great buffet too. Overall, we think this is one of the best places one can stay in Gili T.

Staff were excellent! Friendly and polite, would recommend everyone to stay here! Some tourists were laying topless by the center pool

The resort was exceptional, with such a beautiful design and layout, architecture and lighting - we loved walking the resort especially at night, and enjoyed both of the beautiful pools as well as the well manicured beach. The staff and service was exceptional! Nothing much that we didn’t like about the property, but if I had to say something it would just be that the traditional Lumbungs can be a little bit loud during prayer time when the prayers are played throughout the island.

Pools, Locations, Friendly helpful staff, clean comfy big rooms, super quick check in check out. Please fix the billiards table and add a foosball table and a table tennis table.

Our stay at Vila Ombak was so good we doubled it. We originally booked two nights and ended up staying four! The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from the ferry port. From the moment we arrived, we completely fell into island mode. The location is perfect, right on the beachfront with stunning ocean views and just steps away from everything, yet still peaceful enough to truly relax. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise each morning quickly became our favourite routine. The resort has everything you need: a lovely in-house spa, two pools with a swim-up bar, and bike and electric scooter rentals that made exploring the island effortless. Breakfast was buffet style with a great variety, from sweet pastries and fresh fruit to plenty of savoury options, so there was truly something for everyone. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a large pool area that’s perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a laid-back island stay. What really made it for us was the atmosphere. Effortless, tropical, and easy. Between beach walks, swimming, and enjoying the island’s vibe, two nights simply didn’t feel like enough. Extending our stay was the easiest decision we made on the trip. If you’re heading to Gili Trawangan and want the perfect mix of location, comfort, and island charm, Vila Ombak is a fantastic choice. It was all perfect
