Lumiere Hotel Gili Trawangan

Very very friendly attitude and super polite stuff! They are always there for you to help and provide any information you need ?

Wonderful, friendly staff, they are a credit to the hotel. Lovely pool area which catches the sun in the mornings. Great breakfast included - choose the noodles! The hotel shows serious signs of neglect, with a general mould issue, musty pillows, old stained towels, and a balcony door that wouldn’t close properly. Once likely fabulous, it now needs significant restoration. Wi-Fi is limited to the ground floor, leaving upstairs rooms disconnected.

Great location, lovely staff and room. Only downside was the pool was very murky the entire stay so we didn’t get to use it and also you could see there had been a lot of mould on the wall that had been covered up.

The staff were so friendly and polite. The location was easy to find and close to everything we needed. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the property was not well maintained. There appeared to be water damaged throughout the property. The rooms themselves were not kept to a good standard. All the towels and bedding had marks all over them. The bathroom was unclean. The hotel itself was nice, it just seemed to have been let go.

Everything. The hotel needs a good painting job, some renovations needed. In the photo it looks very nice but once you there, some areas are discusting. Sliding door doesn't close properly and can't lock. No lights going up the stairs. They put tarpaulin all across the back wall to stop rain comming in. Never going to stay there again

I had a very pleasant stay at Lumiere, especially thanks to the staff! Besides the pleasant stay, unfortunately I had forgotten my watch at the hotel.... Thanks to Masrur & Hifzan, it is now on its way to my house!

From Silvia (silvieta) and Marc, thank you so much to all the Staff, specially to Rico and Zan for making our days in Gili T feel like home!! They where always super welcoming, kind and good people. We booked for 4 days and absolutely extended our stay for 4 days more. We really recommend this hotel for every couple or friends who wants to enjoy a very beautiful and relaxed days. Perfect room, bed super confortable, AC worked perfect, beautiful pool and amazing staff! Looking forward to see you again :) Nothing, everything great!!

Lumiere Hotel is excellent value and a great location, away from the high tourist area, yet close enough to still be able to walk to the harbour and main areas. The room itself really did tick all the boxes; very comfy King Size bed, plenty of clothes storage (drawers & cupboards), good aircon, generous sized bathroom, good hot water, fridge, kettle and large TV. The WIFI was very reliable, being consistent, fast and strong. We stayed in a downstairs (poolside) room and the convenience of not taking luggage upstairs was perfect for us, plus when we opened our large double doors the pool and common breakfast area was on our doorstep. The pool was a good size and their was plenty of shade from early afternoon onwards. Daily room cleans were an unexpected bonus, Breakfast was basic, but had plenty of options (eggs, omelette, nasi goreng, mie goreng etc...) and was very tasty, we stayed a week and really appreciated the breakfast choices. Staff were exceptional, talking to us and offering advice for boat transfers. They took our laundry and got it done within 24 hours at a very good rate (25K per kilo). We certainly left feeling like friends. There are still plenty of nice food options close by (we highly recommend Bonny's Kitchen - one street away) and also several small shops for water and supplies within a very short walk. It was only a 7 minute walk to the main foreshore area near the harbour. Pushbikes are available from the hotel itself for 50K per 24 hours and they were in good condition - allowing us to explore the island ourselves and catch a nice sunset before riding back. For the cost, this is an exceptional stay and we would easily return here. Absolutely nothing!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Always there to help. We rented bikes from the hotel and they even booked us a ferry back to Bali. The rooms were really nice, good air con, wifi worked really well, bathrooms were really nice and complementary breakfast every morning

The staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with, being incredibly attentive and personable. The breakfast each morning gave good options and set us up for the day. The room was spotless and homely. The shower pressure was perfect and all of the facilities were working great. The bathroom was slightly dark but didn’t bother us in the slightest.
