Guava Garden

Cozy and comfortable wood bungalow. Gorgeous garden and very nice swimming pool. Tasty breakfast. Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The Mosque is too loud many times a day. The guy The guy shouts into the loudspeakers at 3am to wake people up to have breakfast before the first prayer at 4:50am. Then they pray from 9pm to 11pm. Always very loud and into the many speakers!

Great location, close to everything (walking distance) and between the locals but still further away from party noise Friendly staff, good breakfast Nice pool, pretty garden, good rooms No sound isolation in the rooms, even with earplugs you will wake up at 4:30 in the morning because of the call to prayer from the Moskee. It is SO LOUD. This was the big minus point of our stay, but you hear it everywhere on this side of the island.

The location is close enough to the main street, but far enough that you don't hear it. The luxe hut was well set up, the outdoor bathroom was a brilliant experience. The breakfast was a great size and you can order it whenever suits. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained. If you arrive late 'The Shack' restaurant across the road is a perfect option. We hired bikes for the full stay at AU$5 per day per bike. The private snorkelling trip they booked for us at AU$25 per person was one of the best experiences. I would thoroughly recommend this accomodation for a couple, group of friends or family with older children who can stay in their own room. Lots of warungs on the same street that have local and western food options at great quality and price. Be sure to try the donuts on the corner on the same street. We weren't too bothered by the call to prayer. You hear it and then go back to sleep. It's quite nice during the day, and you find you tune out quickly anyway. Jit the manager and his team were so friendly and accomodating. To be greeted with 'welcome home' when you arrive back each day is lovely, as is the welcome drink. If you can only cope with a firm mattress you may not love the bed. It's medium firmness. Just be aware that when messaging via booking.com you are talking with the owner who is in another country and does not pass on the message details to Jit the manager.

I loved! It is a beautiful place, the pool is nice and surrounding by frangipani flowers trees, the room is very comfortable, and the shower is pretty nice.

There was no hot water. There is no mosquito net and a lot of insects. The mosque is a bit unpleasant at 5 in the morning, even with earplugs.

Nice swimming pool and just outside of the busy street with nice Personal overal. Every morning we had a nice, healthy and great breakfast which they make from early until noon

The hotel is very nice. Also the swimming pool is very nice and clean, there is a lot of privacy. There is a gallon of fresh water in the room. The stuff is kind. They provide bikes for a good price, but make sure to book them in advance, because the first day I was there all the bikes were all gone. In 15 min on walk you can arrive to the main night life street. As a solo traveler girl I appreciated the fact that there was always someone at the reception. Unfortunately really close to the mosque and on a very busy loco street, this means it’s really loud. They provided me hear plugs. The AC was also making some noises. The bathroom door was broken and I wasn’t able to close it. Also the lighting in the bathroom is not good, in the evening I wasn’t able to do my makeup and when the bathroom light is turned on, the room light also turns on, so it can be annoying at night if you’re traveling as a couple. I asked to change room but this wasn’t possible, but they didn’t either tried to find a solution

The staff were brilliant

Staff very polite and helpful, close to the action but far from the party places. Lovely pool, really cute little cabins with all you need. I loved that they provided an umbrella with the cabin, during the rain season it comes in handy! Bikes are 5$/day. Really useful to get around! Nothing! You can hear noise during the night from the outside but we were kindly provided with earplugs.

A small oasis in the heart of Gili. The location is absolutely perfect, and the surroundings, with the beautifully maintained garden, create a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is ideally situated, offering easy access to everything. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, making you feel right at home. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

Beautiful well maintained greenery around the bungalows. This is a small hotel that feels very private. Friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, filling breakfast. The wifi was a bit hit and miss.
