Safe area, good for families.

I checked in around 8pm and met the property manager. Very lovely woman, professional and considerate. Other than my credit card, I think she needed my ph# and the make/model/color of my car to allow my parking on-site. I received my room key, and my room was on the second floor. No elevator, but I can make due with the stairs. The room had a little dining table, a dresser with TV on it, a desk area, microwave on top of a refrigerator. Bathroom was a little outdated, but workable. The AC unit worked, but seemed to turn off after maybe 20-30mins of usage. I had to reset the safety on the plug several times during my stay, which was a bit of an inconvenience. One time I went to grab something from my car and meant to go back to my room, but had forgotten to take my room key with me. So I needed to get help from the manager. She gave my an extra room key and just asked me to return both keys when I checked out. Very nice person, she was there in the office basically everytime I needed her help.

Quality relates to price. A room was relatively clean. Parking was always available. It would be nice to have a coffee machine in a room.

Keep your expectations low; you get what you pay for. Very basic but has all the necessities. Free onsite parking is a plus, but don't expect too much from this outdated motel.

Great budget motel that was very quiet and clean. Great location for access to Universal Studios. For the price compared to other nearby locations, it was overall cheaper. Rooms were simple but well kept. A/C is loud but typical of what you would expect. Parking is well lit and did not have any issues. Staff not always directly visible but had an issue with key card not working late in the evening and rang bell and staff came immediately.
