Ramada by Wyndham Glendale Heights/Lombard

The room was clean-ish. The floors could have used some mopping and the fridge needed a wipe down. The staff was friendly enough, the bed in the room was comfortable and there was plenty of included parking. But, if you're expecting luxury, or even one step down from lux, you're not going to get it here. The hotel is old...really OLD! From the doors & locks, doorknobs, sink, bathroom (tub and toilet), floors, ceiling, baseboards, tv & remote, ironing board & iron, refrigerator & microwave and air conditioner...all OLD! Everything needs an update, reno and upgrade, including the hallways and hallway carpet. Many of those previously mentioned items were rusted, torn, withering away, peeling and leaking. The tv, literally, took 20 minutes, just to turn on (I timed it)! Like, I said, it was fine and okay, if you're just looking for a place to lay your head, but if you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy...probably want to keep searching. Just my opinion.

Everything and everyone does a great job running this hotel to meet my expectations upon staying frequently every other weekend for a small getaway with my children we all feel safe and get much needed rest and a small good night swim. The laundromat sometimes is out of order.

Overall was a good stay, staff were helpful when we had a key card issue. The hallways smelled a bit funky but the room smelled and felt clean. I’d say the experience was of equal value for what we payed to stay there.

The light on the right side of the bed (when you are facing the bed) was out Breakfast was terrible. The sausages were tough and everything else was cold. The pancake maker was not working.

What I liked was the staff was friendly and available. The refrigerator and microwave was great; that's what made me give an average score! What could have been better were the beds; one of the beds you could actually feel the springs! Not good! My mom is elderly and she was extremely uncomfortable! We switched beds and that one was a little better! There was a little hole in the bathroom door and the breakfast wasn't that good! The whole room needs an upgrade!

The tv didn’t work water pressure didn’t work, it was like when you turn off a water hose and that little last bit of water gets pushed out, that’s what the water pressure was like. The air conditioning kept turning on and off but it was mainly off and didn’t even get cold. The entire place was so dirty and it had this stink to it too. I had very bad experience with the people staying at that hotel as well, mainly drunk from an event that was going on but the children they came with kept running up and down the hallways the walls are so thin I could hear every footsteps from anyone outside the door. I also had guests who were attempting to grab my attention. I also noticed the room I was staying in looked like the door was kicked in and the lock was replaced but not replaced well because it was so loose it felt like someone else could just as easily kick in that door. I couldn’t even stay at that hotel for another night I booked a stay at the Hampton Inn down the street on north . Much cleaner much better tv worked air conditioning was amazing better water pressure and I just felt so much safer

This was a fairly affordable hotel It wasn’t just dated, it was fairly neglected as far as hotels go. It never felt clean. The elevator, the hallways, the rooms - floors were sticky and nothing looked super clean.

Not much. No bed bugs. Dirty. Not well maintained.
