Quality Inn & Suites Golden - Denver West

The Inn was kept clean, the breakfast was very well organized, and the staff was superlative. I arrived at the rail stop near the Inn at midnight in a pouring rain and the father of the front-desk clerk drove a mile to pick me up so I would not have to take a bus in the rain. I was amazed at his courtesy and thanked him profusely.

Room was very clean, shower was great, breakfast was lacking. Parking was okay.

The cleaning staff was helpful, offering to provide us with clean towels daily. The rugs were heavily stained in the halls and needed vacuuming. Our room floor had notable sticky spots. The pool was cleaned mid-stay. It is a pool with a depth of 5 ft. The hot tub's interior paint was peeling. The elevator moved promptly, however the panel to push the buttons protruded some and jostled when pushing it. There was ample hot water and the tiled bath was clean. The bath counter was cracked and stained in multiple places, having been duct-taped together. Though we slept well and we appreciated the staff, we would look for better accommodations next time.

Very helpful staff. Hotel interior and exterior well maintained. Clean , comfortable room. Large swimming pool and lounge area.

It was easy check in and out... It was a great location for what we were doing. The overall hotel needs a update inside. The carpet in hallways were very dirty and stained. All the walls throughout the hotel could use a cleaning and some new paint.

Staff members were all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and though the hallways are due for new carpeting, I saw the maid vacuuming the carpet edges so at least the old carpet seems cleaned well. Also saw a maid mopping the rooms floors, so that's good. The breakfast is a bit too basic (re: only serve eggs and turkey bacon, yuck, on weekends), but as the price is relatively reasonable, rooms are clean, and staff is pleasant, we'll likely stay there a third time.

Our room door had quite a space letting light in. Our bathroom had bugs on the floor, the tub and toilet were very stained. The stopper in the tub had bunches of hair and some gross chunky stuff. There was a hair pick stuck in the vent with hair in it. The tables and night stands were sticky and dirty along with the floors. Too top it off our bed had crumbs in it! I took that as the sheets were not changed. I checked for bed bugs and I didn’t find any, thankfully. After a very uncomfortable night we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We wanted nothing to do with their breakfast. We were prepaid for another night but I told the lady at the front we wouldn’t be back and why. She said she would speak to the manager about a refund. I told her that wasn’t my point that we just wanted to leave. If people say this is a nice clean hotel they are clearly not telling the truth. Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures sorry but they aren’t accurate. 1 star for sure! One good thing is the restaurant next door Louis #2 is excellent for breakfast.

We didnt even stay. We checked and got to our rooms ans there were bed bugs, blood on walls, filthy floors, stained sheets. We immediately went back and turned our keys in and went elsewhere.

Facility definitely needs work, like new carpets and stuff because it's super stained and kinda dingy. Our room was relatively clean but not soundproof at allll. Breakfast was decent. Pretty close to Red Rocks which is great tho! And staff was friendly. Overall okay visit. Might stay again if it was a bit cheaper.

Bath fixtures were worn and I had to tighten the showerhead to stop a major leak.

The rooms were ok, but there were stains on the bedding. The hallways were absolutely atrocious- stained and dirty. The pictures on the website are very deceiving; they should be updated so you know exactly what you are staying in...

Standard hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, some of the staff could improve. Several other issues were resolved immediately upon request.
