We were given a basement room that had a window to an interior corridor. The room was hot and stuffy, had no ventilation, and sewer gases emanated from the bathroom, so we had to keep the window and the door open all the time. The ventilation was inadequate even with our door open. The reception desk was next door, so conversations from there disturbed us to midnight. If this were a cheap hotel in a developing country, that would be OK, but we paid 140 euro per night.

It was convenient and cozy. Needs substantial refreshing (bathroom tile and drain maintenance, new sheets/mattress)

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful owner and staff, awesome restaurant!

Everything. People didn't rate them full. I wonder why. Not on property but people

Great property. Amazing restaurant upstairs. Best terrace and food. Staff not as helpful or knowledgeable as other places.

Breakfast was on a par with big hotels. Views from the roof made it easy to see the balloons without a lot of work. Hotel restaurant was outstanding for dinner, we should have tried it our first night and not our fourth and last night. Desk Staff like Mirac, Mehmet, and Yagiz were fluent in English and customer service. Location near the top of the hill made us skip the hike and fee to watch the sunset. Lots of stairs made it difficult when one in our party had to use crutches. Cats were everywhere if you let them roam. Noise in the hallways was a bit bothersome. Dust from cave ceilings was part of the experience.

The location was superb and I am pretty sure we had the best view in Göreme. Yağiz at the reception was so nice and helpful, always greeting you with a smile, it was a pleasure coming back every day! We are very thankful that he helped us with the balloon flight booking, too. It was canceled 2 out of 4 days that we were there, so it was no easy task. And the cutie dog Neco was a great addition, too. A very good Turkish breakfast fueled you for the whole day. It had the same base daily, but omelette and sweets varied. You could also get tea and coffee anytime. Overall the hotel has amazing views, is super cosy and with great personnel and food. It is very close to the view point (which has an entrance fee), but with the beautiful view from our terrace, we did not feel like we need to check it out. We had the King room with balcony, which we absolutely loved. It has a gorgeous view from the balcony. Be aware, though, it is located under the restaurant, which is open for breakfast (after 8.30) and dinner (until about 10) and it will get loud with people moving the heavy chairs. We are not too sensitive to the noise, so it was ok.

We loved our two night stay at the cave suites. We booked two different rooms & they were both beautiful & unique! The staff helped us book a hot air balloon ride & arranged a taxi driver for us which was very helpful!! They were accommodating & friendly! Breakfast was a huge plus & very delicious!

Great place with great value. Amazing view of the balloons from the terrace at the top floor. We stayed in the King suite and was amazing, as in the pictures, and also has a great terrace with a view. Thanks a lot to all the staff members that helped us out booking all of the activities, and that immediatly found a solution when there was a miscommunication issue during the balloon booking, they immediatly found a solution. Special thanks to Yagiz for sorting most of the things out. Special mention also for the super cute puppy at the reception

The location is one of the highest in Goreme, so beautiful views of the town and balloons! Food was wonderful. The room also came with plenty of (free) water for my three night stay which was much appreciated. Yagiz and the whole staff were absolutely amazing. Bonus: near the Silver Shop where the owner Mesut has beautiful products. And he’s an absolute joy as well. Nothing—everything exceeded my expectations.

So gorgeous and so close to the sunset/sunrise outlook, the king suite balcony was perfect for viewing the balloons, as well as the terrace, decadent breakfast, gorgeous bathroom, a nice cave room with natural light, cozy bed, worth it if you’re down to shell out Not necessarily a con, but there is a lot of foot traffic in the early mornings to catch a balloon sighting

Breakfast was amazing! A whole spread brought out just for you! Not a buffet but still brought out promptly but just plan for that if you're trying to grab and go. I got the deluxe double suite and it came with the rope chair pictured and it was so fun and relaxing! The staff helped with any issues and when my taxi came early they came up to the roof to get me and let me know. Easy access to all of town and the sunrise viewpoint, great rooftop. My room, which i booked last minute like a few days before, had a weird smell and was very hot. Cave rooms are supposed to be cold so i thought that was weird but they gave me a huge fan. The bed was also just okay. The sound of the fan and the bed made me sleep not well but I think i was still having jetlag too. They offered me the fan before i asked so i guess they knew that room was like that. Middle of July so very hot outside, room was the very lowest part of hotel. This was my only complaint and they did what they could.

Second time visiting Cappadocia, and this time I stayed longer.4 days and 3 nights at Zeus Cave Hotel. The hotel is stunning, and I truly got to experience sleeping in an actual cave room, not just a cave-inspired design. The room is reconstructed from a real cave, spacious, cool without the need for air-conditioning, and the bed is super comfortable. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location-wise, it’s very convenient! Just a 5-minute walk downhill to Göreme town. Highly recommended!

Great boutique property for a Cappadocia visit. Cave room was gorgeous and spacious with a nice balcony. Rooftop area for catching the balloons at sunrise. Breakfast was excellent. Easy to walk everywhere. Super kind staff. On top of that, there’s a puppy on site (6 weeks old as of the time of this review) which was a cute touch. Would return! Heads up that it’s a bit steep walking up the hill from the town center, but this is common for lots of hotels in the area.

The view from the terrace is amazing, especially in the early morning for watching the hot balloons. Make sure you pick a room with a proper window or balcony. It gets really hot and stuffed in the cave room. It was difficult for us to sleep properly. There is no daily room cleaning.
-
Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Guests talking loudly in the corridor at 3:30 am. Missing hand rail for sections of the stairs.
-
Really enjoyed our stay. Big room, lovely bath and bathroom. Massive bed with great quality bedding. Lovely view from the balcony. Very clean and tidy. Would love to come back and stay. TV didn't have English channels. Only minor when you have activities to do and a lovely view to look at.

Incredible people and amazing place to stay. It has a wide terrace so you can enjoy almost 360 view. I would say the view from the terrace is much better than from the view point (entrance fee 30 lirs). Breakfasts here are the most tasty ones we have ever had in Turkey.
