Location and Staff The breakfast, usually in Turkish hotel is better. They offer à rooftop, but it was dirty and uncomfortable, the service is not good and also very expensive.

Photo on booking look great but in 2026 huge building site immediately adjacent to boarding house. At first sightthis looks like a nice place. Hotel rooms are ok, but our “presidential suite” featured a tired and outdated bathroom, and used furnishings. The Tv did not work. The hotel only offers 5 sun hammocks to its 100 guests. The bar is not open in the evening. The restaurant struggles to find guests. As cooking is poor, people go to other places. Rooftop Restaurant NaNa right next to the Anatolia house largely benefits from this.

The shower screen shattered whilst my wife was using the shower. She suffered a few minor cuts and scratches. From the way it shattered it was clearly not safety glass. That’s a health issue that could well be impacting the other guest rooms. That said the staff were excellent in their response, see note above

Staff are very friendly, Kennan was great resolving our issue at check in. very authentic to provide a real cappadocian experience There is major conservation structure by the municipality to preserve the chimneys next to the hotel, which blocked the beautiful view until work is completed.

The spa and Turkish baths are great. Excellent way to wind down Outside pool not in the sun

PERFECTION! I can best describe our experience at Anatolian Houses as a “ fine oiled machine”. Every detail, every staff member quietly is meeting hospitality at 100 percent and pure perfection. Their training must be top notch as each and every employee worked so well together! The breakfast - the best of any hotel I have stayed around the world! Our room and securing memories was important to them! They received a package for us and got it to us safely! They were always one step ahead of any needs you wanted! I knew I’d leave Turkey with a rug… and it was bought here by the most amazing staff, and a true expert in the field who fixed little straggling strings ( it’s over 50 years old) quickly for our departure and with the most precious enthusiasm! GREAT JOB EVERYONE! There is nothing not to like! The hospitality and team work here, among many layers of service ( hotel, spa, restaurant, pool, rug sales)… is THE BEST

Location and staff Showing signs of wear and not proper upkeep (shower grime and mold, shower head broken, shower drain not draining properly causing water pooling).

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The outside spaces and the spa are wonderfully designed to fit in the local landscape. It even has its own small museum including traditional carpets. The rooms are beautifully designed but would benefit from updating. The hotel is within walking distance to all the amenities and attractions of Goreme. The breakfast was ok but without much variety.

The spa was closed for renovations and we didn’t find out about it until right before we went. They offered to refund part of our stay because of it but it’s been months of back and forth trying to get the refund. The staff were really lovely and we really enjoyed our stay but this part has been terrible to try and deal with.

There were a lot of dust particles on the bed in the initial cave room assigned to us. Although the receptionist changed the bedding after we reported the issue, dust and particles accumulated on the bed again overnight. They changed a room for us which solved the issue. The breakfast is not good with limited choices.

Amazing stay in the heart of Göreme! The hotel is perfectly located, close to everything you need while exploring the area. We stayed in the family room, and it truly felt like stepping into another world—our daughter was absolutely amazed. The cave-style rooms carved into the rock are stunning, and the entire property is beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the hot air balloon views from the hotel terraces at sunrise—absolutely to die for and something we’ll never forget. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at any hotel—so many options, all fresh and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly kind and always available to help with anything we needed. Since it wasn’t summer yet, we took advantage of the indoor pool, and our daughter loved it. If we ever return to Göreme, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! N/A

Anatolian Houses was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean, the lodge itself was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They also make it very easy to book activities and tours, which was a big plus. The spa area was another highlight, very relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast was good, but Restaurant Alâ was truly amazing and definitely a standout. The only downside during our stay was that there was some renovation happening in one of the rock chimneys, which caused occasional noise. Also, since we visited between seasons, a few seating areas around the hotel were not available, and the rooftop was not decorated. Lastly, I do wish they provided more than one pillow per person for added comfort.

The staff members were very welcoming and helpful in helping me booking tours and showing me around the hotel. I really enjoyed drinking wine from the fountain. The museum in the hotel is also very impressive. The room is very beautiful and majestic with a giant and comfortable bed. The location is excellent as it's close to Gerome Open Air Museum and many wonderful restaurants. The shower is a bit worn-out which might needs some maintenance. In addition, the spa could have been equipped with a speaker for relaxing music as the spa staff members simply put their phones right next to my ears without turning off their message notifications.

Wonderful place, very kindly Stuff, near to the attractive places.

Too many stairs. Very difficult for people with knee or joint pain. Very cold room. Had a fireplace but wasn’t able to use it. Breakfast buffet was strange. French fries, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage in tomato sauce, and lentil soup. Plus cold options, cheese, veggies, fruit, etc. Only had orange juice on first morning. Concierge was also frustrating. I wanted to book a hot air balloon for a specific date due to weather forecasts and was pressured to book sooner in case it was cancelled (and it was) and had to be rescheduled for the date I originally wanted (which was the only date during our trip that balloons launched). Because of the concierge I couldn’t book other tours because I was on stand by for two days. Stairs to spa, breakfast, restaurant, room, everything. Construction right across the street. View from room obstructed by construction scaffolding.

Lovely facilities and layout. Comfortable, cozy cave room, yet modern. In-room amenities included jacuzzi tub and fireplace in reasonably-priced room. Spa access included sauna, pool, turkish baths. Staff was very helpful throughout stay, even before check in and after check out. Coordinated both private and shared airport transfers. Location was up on a hill with a direct one block walk directly into town with restaurants and shops. Nothing the hotel could control. Government reinforcing a natural stone chimney nearby so temporary scaffolding.

Those are some HARD beds! I do wish your website discribed what rooms are real "Chimney" rooms and what are not.

The experience was exceptional, highly recommended.
