We stayed at this hotel about 8 years ago, and we chose the same chimney room as we had all those years ago. The hotel has undergone some design revisions and added a restaurant since we were last there, and even our room was different with a new entrance and and added terrace, which made for a pleasant sitting area. This is one of the hotels that uses actual cave and chimney elements for some of the rooms, and for that reason it is appealing. The hotel restaurant provided a very tasty and generous breakfast. The tv never worked adequately for our stay. It would function temporarily and then freeze. We asked them to look at it, but it was not repaired and I suspect they do not have an adequate amount of a cable signal for all the rooms of the hotel. The phone in our room also was in a state of disrepair when we checked in, though they did manage to repair that. The other unfortunate feature was the music that was played throughout the evening in their restaurant / lounge area. The volume is unnecessarily loud, and it made getting to sleep difficult. I liked it better years before when there was no noise. It also did not seem like there were people in the restaurant / lounge at night to listen to the music, so one has to winder what is the point? A hotel should focus on providing a restful and comfortable place to stay, and playing music through several speakers is not the way to achieve restfulness for your guests. This is still a unique property, and our room looked as charming as ever, and the staff were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be, but I hope they will fix their tv situation and get rid of the nightly music.

The property was centrally located and accessible to everything by walking like nice restaurants and close to all tourist attractions in Cappadocia. You can actually see the hot air balloon in front of the hotel so beautifully lined up in different colors in the morning. It is also so very close by walking to the Sunset point where you can watch the balloons going simultaneously giving an enchanting appearance as well as at night There’s something undeniably captivating about watching the sunset paint the town in shades of purple and gold! Special mention to Mert Menis the new restaurant supervisor and his staff who always check their customers making sure that we get the best service during our breakfast Mert even organized the cocktail party for my friend from the wine, decoration and even gave us free nuts and cheese to pair with the wine We also received remarkable support from staff members Metehan and Ahmet, who were always present and eager to help us during the cocktail party. They introduced us to the traditional Turkish method of cooking potatoes over an open fire, which was a unique and memorable experience. We also want to extend our gratitude to Josef, the witty, funny, and friendly receptionist, who seamlessly booked our activities and fulfilled all our requests—from room decorations to ordering cakes. We feel that everything is possible with Yosef and he finds ways no matter what. We may not remember the name of the friendly young man who assisted us from check-in to check-out, but his warm demeanor truly made our stay special, and his photo is included below. Having such exceptional staff truly enriches our beautiful cave suite experience. Thank you so much for everything; we genuinely appreciate all of you! I can’t fault this beautiful cave hotel; its location is perfect, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond with their genuine friendliness and respect.

Great location, convenient to go anywhere. Romantic room, hotel was so kind to offer us the room with a big balcony (directly enjoy the balloon scene) in the morning, love! Perhaps add a dressing table for ladies in the spacious bathroom?

We had a real amazing stay in the hotel. The accommodation is beautiful, with great rooms and terraces. The breakfast was really delicious with lots of variety, good coffee and great egg dishes. What really stood out is the stuff working there. Everyone was super friendly and eager to help. Josef checked us in early (without extra payment) with the greatest mood and lots of laughter. Al and Nuri made us smile every time we saw them and really showed what great hospitality looks like. We dont know the names of the other workers but they too were very friendly. All in all we highly recommend the place and know where we will stay when we come back!

great place, beaufiful. Nicest staff ever, reception staff, restaurant staff (specially the older gentleman that works at the restaurant). The whole experience was great. If I come back to Cappadocia, I definetely will stay at the same place. construction, but they are growing and making the place even better. So, this is not a negative. Progress/growth is good.

The location was great - high enough to get a great view of the balloons in the morning and close to the main road down . And the breakfast was good . The was a step down as you entered into the room which to me was a bit dangerous .
