Hira Cave Hotel

We had such a lovely time at Hira Cave! The location is prime, and the rooftop offers amazing views — perfect for balloon viewing. The breakfast was great, and the place was very well-kept at all times. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations and would recommend this to all our family and friends! Thank you to the owner, who was very welcoming and gracious! Thank you as well to all the staff — Fatma, Meryam, Mustafa (we didn't get the names of the others!), for always being warm and helpful. You made our stay in Cappadocia extra memorable!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Hira Cave Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were lucky to receive an early checkin which was greatly appreciated after traveling. Our cave room was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with an amazing bed and excellent shower pressure. The terrace is simply breathtaking. Watching the hot air balloons take off at sunrise from the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh local food. The location is perfect, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions in Göreme. A special thank you to Mustafa and Tony, who were both incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. Honestly, Everything exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful stay.

The stay at HCH was a different experience...the room was fantastic and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Tony and Mustafa. The breakfast was delicious with freshly prepared variety of options and the view from the breakfast area was just as stunning...special thanks to Fatima and Maryam for their cheerful service. We also got a few souvenirs when leaving from the hotel...all in all - a wonderful experience.

From the moment I arrived at Hira Cave Hotel, I was overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of the owner and staff. They go above and beyond — even by the already high standards of Turkish hospitality. I was constantly offered tea, coffee, and thoughtful little snacks, whether I was relaxing in the lobby or enjoying the stunning terrace views. One morning, after getting up early for the hot air balloons and falling back asleep, I missed the official breakfast — and they still made me a plate of mini pancakes, just out of kindness. When I needed to rearrange my travel plans, they helped me rebook my bus ticket from the closer town center so I wouldn’t need to take a taxi to the bigger station — something they didn’t have to do, but offered without hesitation. The hotel itself is beautiful, an easy walk from the center of Göreme, and the views from the terrace — hot air balloons at sunrise, village lights and music at night — are pure magic. My cave room was cozy, authentic, and absolutely charming. I truly loved my stay here, but more than anything, I’m leaving with gratitude for the people who made it so special. Nothing!

We stayed in the 2nd level wherein there is only one room, and that's ours. Very exclusive! Easy to access the rooftop. The views are amazing, the staffs are very kind and helpful, specially Mustafa, who let us check in earlier than usual. He always check on our daily needs in our room, arrange for us tours & airport transfer. He even offered sandwich for us to bring since we are leaving for the airport too early. Thanks so much Mustafa for your effort. We also like to say thanks to the mother & daughter kitchen team, Rahle & Zehra for preparing sumptuous breakfast everyday. To Mehmet & Mehdi for helping us carry our heavy luggages, a big thanks to you both. And lastly, many thanks to the owner, Mehmet who always go to the resto during breakfast time to greet every guest. Very personalized & homey kind of service. We really enjoyed staying in your hotel. It feels like home to us. We love the cats specially Mas, the resident cat manager is super adorable. The only problem is walking to and from the hotel is a difficult task for someone with knee issues like me. Fortunately taxis are available everywhere in the area. And there was a time that the owner offered us a free ride to the center area. Thanks again everyone, you did a good job! Keep it up.

The main reason to choose Hira Caves was the view from their terrace which you can appreciate in the photos. We received the warmest welcome by our host Mehmet and the hotel mascot Dumad . All staff were really helpful specially Mehde. The room had the most comfortable mattress which was perfect after our long day expedition. We loved the fact that there were limited hotel rooms so most of the time we had the terrace by ourselves which we used to the fullest for our photoshoot. Unfortunately our balloon ride got cancelled on 22nd and it was fully booked on all websites for 23rd but Mehmet arranged for us last minute. Really thankful for their hospitality. They had the cutest cat in their hotel reception and just like all turkish cats he was really friendly and playful. Read less

The property is very beautiful and unique, our room was spectacular, and the terrace is beyond gorgeous! Mehmet and Mehdi made our stay exceptional, and we were able to book all our experiences (Ballon flight, horseback riding at sunset, Green tour) as well as the hotel transfers with the hotel which was very convenient and wonderful. The hotel is 10 mins away from the City Center on foot which is also very convenient. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Sheila the hotel cat was also a cutie who loves pets, and was the cherry on top of our visit.
