On-site restaurant service very poor during dinner. Waited a long time for menus and order to be taken. Ended up leaving after a while. Restaurant wasn't very busy. Breakfast service was a bit better.

It was a very quiet experience, not a very busy hotel, so when I was in the bar, I was alone which was pleasant They never had stock of the drinks or foods I wanted. it didn't seem close enough to walk to a cafe or anything so it is kinda secluded. I was there at night so my view might be different if I was staying during the day when everything was open

Nothing in particular

It needs major repair. This is a 1.5 start hotel at best. There is no elevator. Beds are hard as a rock. Bathrooms were very very small.

Ocean views

Breakfast was very substantial with many items to choose from. room was atypical because it did not face the ocean. Bath was very good.

very small tv which is hard to see from bed

It is located up the road from Brookes pavilion. When we arrived there was sufficient parking. The restaurant was located on the 1st floor with a view of the bay. You can sit outside on the deck. There was plenty of choice for breakfast The air conditioning in the room was set at 19 degrees, which is really not needed. We changed to 23 but during the night had to switch it off due to the noise it made Not really something the hotel can do about but there was a power failure due to a collapse of over power pylon. During our check-in the computers rebooted due to a problem with the generator. Staff was helpful to let us into the room with the master key and provided the room key shortly after

Enormous breakfast, too much to choose from, fresh fruit, muffins, ciabatta, croissants, cooked breakfast of all sorts, yogurt and cereals, cold meats and a selection of cheeses..... I would just have liked the filter coffee a bit stronger, but that was a minor in the abundance of nice. The dinner was disappointing. Lamb needed another 2 hours of slow cooking and the ribs ware tough.

Great breakfast and massive helpings from the A La Carte Room was a bit cramped and dark - noisy aircon

Very lovely staff, super helpful and professional. The location is also nice, the bedrooms are a nice size, and the bed is super comfy. Also breakfast was very nice. There is not a lift on the one side of the building, so you have carry your bags up and down the stairs, ( My bags were taken to my room, but I had to carry it back down, just something to consider ) Also the parking is not exactly secure, its just a boom, that opens when it is driven up to it.

Felt like home.

Housekeeping and front desk staff were very kind and friendly The photos and room that I selected on booking.com did not correspond to the room I was allocated. I paid for the loft (which was pictured online) but was allocated a suite-a room half the size and lacking the amenities I needed for my infant (like a kitchenette and microwave for sterilization and a separate sleeping area; I did not receive a refund for the price difference. The staff kept saying “you booked room 300,” like I’m supposed to be familiar with what each room looks like at a hotel I’ve never visited and as if I should have pointed out the discrepancy before arriving. I would never have knowingly booked this setup at the price paid for my family and had the photos been accurate or the change communicated to me, I would have cancelled. Pool was green on Day 1 but was later rectified. I feel duped overall. This experience caused undue stress and lack of comfort during our stay. Booking points to the hotel as responsible and the hotel points to booking. I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone and I am seriously questioning whether I will ever use Booking.com.
