Passable

There was nothing I liked about this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel check-in experiences I’ve had. When I walked in, the employee behind the front desk didn’t greet me or say anything. I handed her my ID, she handed me a room key, and the only words she said were, “The elevators are over there.” I got to my room and there was a loud party going on in the room next door, so I went back downstairs and asked to be moved. The same employee, who had barely spoken to me during check-in, told me there was only one other room available and gave me a key to that room. When I got there, there was a box fan pointed at the floor near the air conditioner. I checked the carpet around the AC and it was soaking wet. The entire room smelled like mildew. I went back downstairs again and explained that the carpet was wet and the room smelled like mildew. The employee stared at me, typed on the computer for a moment, and then just looked at me without saying anything. Finally, I asked, “What do we do now?” She smiled and said, “I don’t know.” At that point, I grabbed my things and left. I understand that problems happen at hotels. What made this experience unacceptable was the complete lack of basic customer service or any attempt to resolve the situation. Between the first room being next to a party, the replacement room having soaked carpet and a mildew smell, and the front desk employee seemingly having no idea how to handle any of it, I had no reason to stay.

What was disappointing was they advertised breakfast included. Wasn't expecting a full buffet, but at least a continental with some pastries, cereal at least. When I found the service area empty, I inquired where the breakfast service was located, I was offered a choice of an apple or banana. I chose a banana and was handed a tied up plastic grocery bag with a banana, bottle of water and a crumpled granola bar. If you are looking for an inexpensive bed for the night, it was okay. BUT don't expect starting the day with any kind of complementary breakfast. Pretty cheesie move as far as I am concerned.

The smell of sewer throughout the halls. The staff during check in didn’t really provide happy customer service. Breakfast was a joke.

I booked this room months ago. When I went to check in they stated my card couldn't be charged, therefore, booking through Expedia didn't happen. They requested I book through them and the cost of the room was $60 more. Why didn't Expedia contact me if my card wasn't working . . . they have my address, email and phone number. A hassle that wasn't necessary given the amount of information we have to provide to obtain a room not to mention the additional $$ it costs to solidify a room.

Room was nice. Clean. Comfortable It advertised breakfast and even had pictures but we were offered a bag with an orange or apple that was called breakfast to go.

Clean, quiet, comfortable

The only complaint I have is there was no breakfast. Only a protein bar and a water was availablefor breakfast. Clean and good condition.

The room furniture could be better.
