Hotel Regina

Quiet area of Lake Como. The hotel had beautiful views, a great pool and lounge area and a good restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were good. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable. AC struggled a bit. The restaurant needs better shading for their outdoor eating area. It's a lovely view, but when we were seated to eat at 6:30 ( early yes, but they were booked all evening so we took the time available) we were in the hot sun. This same issue occurred for morning breakfast.

Our stay at Hotel Regina was the perfect way to begin our Italian holiday. We arrived late in the evening, tired after picking up our rental car at Malpensa Airport. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. Even though the kitchen had already closed and it was close to midnight, the restaurant kindly prepared food for us. That simple gesture made us feel truly welcome. We fell in love with Italy almost immediately. Breakfast was excellent and served by the lakeside with breathtaking views over Lake Como. It was one of those rare mornings when there was no need to look at our phones—the scenery was more than enough to enjoy a slow and relaxing breakfast. With temperatures above 30°C, the swimming pool was the perfect place to cool off, and we also loved the beautiful views from our balcony. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. We had one small issue with the air conditioning, but the friendly staff quickly helped us get everything working again. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the charming town center. By car, several restaurants and supermarkets were only about 10 minutes away, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. We also took a longer day trip by car, and the location worked perfectly for discovering the beauty of Lake Como. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Regina for making us feel so welcome. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly place to stay on Lake Como.

The location is amazing you are right on the lake. The pool area is also clean and very nice. Breakfast was good,staff was very helpful,enough parking spaces and about 15min walk to the center

The view from our balcony was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious with many choices, and the staff were very friendly and attentive...especially Chiara!

The staff was incredibly helpful and heartwarming. Whole stay was like in a fairy tale. The view from Room was incredible. It was wonderful stay!!!

The hotel is beautiful with a great location, free parking and the view is outstanding, one of a kind. Check in was very fast, staff is amazing and so helpful. Breakfast and dinner both were excellent. We really enjoyed our time there and if we ever visit the city again we will stay there for sure. Nothing

Nice location with a magnificent view.

The location was superb, the room was not worth the value, seemed cheap, new construction with poor amenities; no comforter covers on a yellow comforter that didn’t seem clean. Staff was nice. The restaurant hotel was more like a nursing home cafeteria , from furnishings to food and service. Left one day earlier then paid for . Will not return to this hotel. Location not conducive to take the boat to other islands

What a fantastic location this hotel is on the quiet end of lake Como, our room had wonderful views with the added benefit of a balcony to sit and relax and watch the world go by.

We had a few major letdowns: The rooms were clean but still had alot of dust accumuleted in corners and under the bed and We've had very noisy neihhbours at night. The worst part was the breakfast quality which was very dissapointing.

Our stay at Hotel Regina was great. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and kindness, especially by Marco at the front desk, whose friendly welcome and helpful recommendations made us feel right at home. We were immediately impressed by our renovated room with its massive terrace. It was clean, beautifully modern, and thoughtfully designed. Waking up and opening the curtains to the gorgeous, panoramic view of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains was an absolute dream. The amenities at Hotel Regina are fantastic. We loved spending mornings lounging by and swimming in the pool, and starting our day with the included breakfast was a plus. Being located right on the beach allowed for easy, relaxing strolls along the water. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's location in Gravedona; it felt like a peaceful escape from the more crowded tourist hubs, allowing us to experience the authentic beauty and tranquility of Lake Como. The drive to other towns on the western side of the lake (Tremezzo, Menaggio, Lenno) was ~30 minutes and the eastern side of the lake (Varenna) was ~45 minutes, which we didn't mind. This was a special stay for us. We cannot thank the staff enough for their incredible hospitality. We cannot recommend the hotel enough and are already looking forward to our next visit to Hotel Regina.

The location is super - just on the lake in a quiet area but not far from the center. The view from our room was stunning. The staff was polite and gave us great tips how to spend our time. There is also parking which is great. Every day we had our room cleaned - thank you! :?

The renovated rooms are great!

We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very nice with a large balcony. The location was excellent, beautiful and quiet area with wonderful views overlooking the lake. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Maybe just add some free weights in the gym, that would be great.

Wow!!!!! The renovated room with steam shower, unbelievable views. We slept listening to the lake right outside our window. The pool is beautiful.
