This hotel was a really pleasant surprise. The staff was incredible, the view from the room superb, and I was able to recover from a long journey. It must be spectacular in the summer when you can take advantage of the pool. One huge shout out to the cook/chef. The cake that is put out in the afternoon was the best I have ever eaten.

The entire staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is at the top of a hill.

Staff super friendly and helpful went out of their way to for anything asked. Would strongly recommend to others. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. The staff that helped us the most were Melody, cameon and Peter the driver. More rooms with a bath ! As did not have one and no rooms left with a bath.

The staff are wonderful, welcoming and really just have a perfest hospitality instilled in them. Well done to you all. I thought the room was small to be called a Boutique hotel!

The bed was comfortable but there was a lump in the middle that kept us from being able to sleep next to each other

It was extremely noisy in the room with a road view. There was a strange smell in the bathroom. The elevator didn’t work, but they put us on the highest floor. The architecture of the room is not well-thought either

Great room, enormous bathroom. Nice pool area and lounge to stay after a full day of walking and exploring Cape Town. Really friendly stuff and willing to help and provide assistance. Our room was facing High level road, a vey busy road. Unfortunately the sound of the cars was coming in the room. Hard to sleep, made us wake up early. We asked for another room but the hotel was full. Nice options for the breakfast in terms of the items to order (pancakes, omelette etc) Buffet was limited and with some flies... Cheese has become soft from the heat.. Needs to work on. Not really thrilled about the location..

Pool and restaurants seem ok, though I didn't use the facilities • Parking was awkward • The hotel is very noisy • The newly installed silicone seal around the shower gave the bathroom an overpowering and intoxicating smell • The breakfast was disappointing in that there wasn’t a great variety, the pastries appeared dry, and the cooked breakfast wasn’t substantial • Definitely not value for money

The street leading to the hotel is quite a steep road. Probably not for everyone

Great location. You feel more at home. It does not have the hustle of a typical hotel. Very quiet and good for anyone looking for a quiet place. The absence of basic amenities like a fridge was a shocker especially at the location. Could not get ice. The flow of water in the bathroom was very low. Bathing was not fun

excellent location with lovely helpful staff. we felt like home.

Charming hotel and well located, we enjoyed spending time in the garden nearby the pool. A special thanks to the staff in particular to Elton and Sheila for their kind welcoming!

I cannot say enough about the hospitality shown by everyone at the Treehouse Boutique. We selected this hotel to stay during our anniversary and they made sure we were taken care of! We were greeted enthusiastically as if we were indeed long-awaited relatives coming to visit. Shelia was in charge and her warm welcome included a "feel right at home" overview of the facilities and services available to us. Breakfast was the top of the line delicious start to the day. Great-tasting food, responsive service always with a smile. And manager Elton John truly delivered on "rock star" treatment. When he says to let him know if there's anything he can do to make your stay there better, he really means it! We left there thoroughly taken by the cleanliness, creativity and global-conscious chic vibe of it all. There's nothing not to like about our stay there. But one note of caution if you are ordering your own Uber service for transportation. Make sure they have the correct address of 28 Verperdene Road in their system so they can drop you off right in front of hotel. There seems to be no problem with them picking you right at door but if you are being dropped off some Uber drivers drop off on the street slightly above the hotel. That requires realizing you were at the right place but have to locate steps to come down to front of hotel.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The bed was not very clean and hair was on the pillow.
-
Exceptional service and probably the best hotel breakfast ever. Great to have private secure parking too and attractive outside areas. Nothing

Fantastic service, very warm, friendly and also helpful! We will come back for sure!

Staff was incredibly kind. They were attentive to all our needs. There is breakfast every morning (delicious), cake in the afternoon, a gin bar (local gins), wines, snacks, etc. They have a driver to take you places (add on to the bill), and can call a back up driver if needed. My friend got a massage and said it was fantastic. There are walkable areas during the day. Hotel is beautiful, clean, and has a wonderful lounge and pool area. Staff was easily the highlight, and they go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Every single person we met whilst there was friendly and kind. Truly wonderful people who want to give you a fantastic experience. We thought the location was a good one - right between the V&A waterfront and CBD. However, we were told it was not safe to walk even a short distance at night. This is clearly for our benefit, but we kind of felt we had to stay in the room once it was dark (probably easier in Dec. than May when it starts getting dark at 6). We did not understand the issues at night, having freely walked in major cities elsewhere late at night or early morning hours, but the staff kept us safe. They truly could not have been kinder, and made our experience better. We should have done more research ahead of time. Use their drivers. Listen to their advice. Booking through hotel is for guest safety, not to pad a bill. This is a reputable, kind establishment. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a quiet room.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Truly made our stay so special. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Parking can be a pain as it’s a narrow street but other than that, everything was perfect!
