The linen in our room was crispy white. Building cleanliness was just moderate. Couldn't open the windows due to mosquitoes

Within walking distance of shops and food.

Very old and outdated place.

There was a dog sleeping in the foyer. As much as I was assured by the staff I wouldn't be bitten, surely the staff should take in to consideration that guests might have allergies. It's completely unhygienic too. If a dog has teeth he is very much able to bite and no amount of compensation would have changed the damage that dog would've been able to make. It wasn't clean at all in the dorm room. As much as the staff cannot be held responsible for the guests' doings in the dorms (as the staff called to communicate before my check-in), they still hold the responsibility of ensuring new guests are greeted with cleanliness and especially hygiene upon arrival and check in. The next door neighbour's gardener was looking in to the female dorm in the morning from where he was hosing the garden. I felt physically ill when I saw the bathroom. This was a terrible experience.

I did not like the fact that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. It became very hot in the afternoons and we had to open windows to get cool air but then we had an insect problem. The staff lady was nice.

Location Friendly welome from the owners Blonde white guy, oldish white guy and coloured lady. Clean pool, though we didnt use because of the outside smell Size of the room, wish toilet and shower in the room was clean, maybe they need to be revamped like down stairs shower. Untidiness when you enter the premises Smell i am not sure if its the dog or just dirt Cocroaches in the kitchen and fridges where people keep their food not clean. Fact that they dont clean daily we had to clean ourselves Bedding not ironed
