Room was great, nice touches like nice sitting room with Brady, and the staff was exceptional Breakfast was fine, not quite as elaborate as some boutique hotels but overall we loved the property. Ambiance, staff cordiality ( lodge is small - staff is critical- one in the evening and two for breakfast in the morning). Limited breakfast . Location on a side lonely street.

Location excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast also very good. Room nicely appointed. The building is older and although thoughtfully updated, if at all sensitive to noise bring good earplugs.

Everything about the Cape Diem Lodge was exceptional! We had such a wonderful stay there. Bianca, Daniel, and Samuel, along with the rest of the staff, were incredible. They were so kind and helpful, and gave us wonderful tips for where to eat, things to see, and fun, more local spots to visit. And all their suggestions were awesome and spot on! The property itself is perfect. Beautifully designed and styled, and incredibly clean and comfortable as well. We had the large room in the front, I believe room 5, and it was super spacious and the light that came in was awesome. The bed was so comfortable, and we had three amazing nights sleep there. Also, the shower was wonderful and hot throughout, and we had all of the amenities and creature comforts we could need. Plus, the breakfast were always great, and everyone was so lovely, making sure we always had whatever we needed. There is car parking available, and the location is fantastic. It’s a short block to a bunch of restaurants, and the V&A waterfront is also in walking distance. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Cape Town, and want a beautiful, chic, comfortable, and convenience place to stay where everything is top-notch! We loved it!
