Fantastic location, great view, very helpful staff. Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but everything else was great

Just 37 stairs from Teatro Principal to Plaza Mexiamora and a couple short alleys up to a massive home where I chose a ‘family’ apt with kitchen and shared rooftop area. Location is ?! I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. The decor and kitchen are ‘cottage’ variety of quality and appearance. This is a ‘basic’ accommodation. If you’re looking for amenities above the bare minimum, this might feel a bit 2-stars.

The place has a beautiful terrace and view of the town. The owners are very hospitable and kind.. The room was nice, location is excellent. One of the staff sold us a guided tour, that was terrible. The worst we have ever been on. So don't fall for that!! But, we would definitely come back and recommend the place.

Rooms are small. Every time you want hot shower, you have to ask for it which is bit annoying.

The location was good and there was fast internet. We booked a one bed apartment but were put in an 8-bed-dorm (which we had to ourselves). The room and the bathroom (which couldn't be locked, which isn't great for a dorm room) had no windows. Another problem was that you had to inform the staff for warm water and there were no towels.

Great location .... It's basic and old style but it has everything you need .... The terrace is really cool with amazing view ... I could arrange the taxi with them No coffee .... No social vibe ... Bed sheet

In a fantastic location close to lots of famous Guanajuato sites! The vibes are amazing and the terrace view of the city is gorgeous! We arrived at 11 at night and the staff was waiting for us to let us in. Super kind!!! Oh and the wifi is super fast. Everyone in my group would definitely stay there again! Only downside the showers are cold and you do have to ask to turn the hot water on but honestly if you ask us not a big deal at all. All the other positives outweighs this

Casa Bertha is very centrally located but in a very quiet neighborhood. it is also a good value. Casa Bertha is, essentially, a short step up from a hostel. It is adequate, but rough around the edges.

Very kind and helpful staff. Perfect position, just in the heart of town.
