Amazing experience to stay in the HEART of GTO as a first time visitor. Loved the atmosphere, convenience, friendly staff and best part was to be close to every major landmark within walking distance. The evening transformed into a festive vibe outside its doors. Breakfast was complimentary and very yummy. Balcony front rooms can hear the noise from outside but interior rooms are quiet and restful. I would come back to Hotel Luna in a heartbeat! Something that can’t be fixed due to the nature of the infrastructure of the city, but getting dropped off to the hotel is maybe a block away, if you have help with luggage no biggy. No elevator to rooms so for persons who can’t do stairs a bit hard. Overall a great experience!

Central location in town. The architecture was beautiful. Many restaurants just down stairs. This hotel is in the heart of a very vibrant night life. My family needs noise to fall asleep to and I LOVED dosing off to the serenade of trumpets. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating when we asked to check out a bit later. We loved the property.

The location and breakfast were amazing. Staff were very friendly. Ac unit worked well. We stayed in a suite , which was very quiet contrary to all the other reviews that indicated it was too loud. I can’t say there was anything I disliked from the hotel on the streets. You do have all the students asking if you want to take tours, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The staff was polite. The only problem was that it’s impossible to sleep. The night manager allowed some guests to bring into the hotel a musical group around 10:00 pm and after that a mariachi band until 2:00am the extremely loud music was something unbelievable. I spoke to the manager around 1:00 am and the answer was that the music would keep playing for a while. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and there was a leak coming from the shower to the toilet and sink so every time we go to the restroom our feet were soaked in water. I took videos around 1:00 am about how the music was to much even in our room. The chandelier was vibrating. The property was beautiful, the art around so elegant.

When having a shower, the whole room was flooded. So we change to another room where there are café downstairs. The loud music played till 12am everyday. The second day, the hotel itself is having party till 1am, so the noises are from both side of the room.

Nice and clean It doesn’t have a parking lot, I needed to pay about 35 USD per day on a local parking lot nearby the hotel

The property was very clean. The food was delicious, I like everything. Even the coffee that they have in the room was delicious. I didn’t like that they had no parking space near by. It was horrible the walk with my suitcase. Like it was really bad.

Outstanding location. Some of the staff was exceptional. Beds were very comfortable. Loved sitting outside in the square and eating breakfast. Some of the rooms are quiet and some are very noisy because they face the main square. The battling mariachi bands are fun at 8:00 pm but not when you are trying to sleep. Be sure to ask for a quiet room. Any place on the square is going to have some really noisy rooms though. One family member complained that there was a sewage smell in the bathroom, mine was fine. There is very little Mexico vibe at this old hotel - classical music playing in the lobby, chandeliers. No elevator.

Amazing location, spotless and comfortable room, beautiful art and decor, and a staff that went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and safe. The windows weren’t soundproof, so outside noises, especially from live music at the nearby kiosk, could be heard in the room.

Staff was decent.Lication was all right. Taxi can't take you right up to the hotel so you have to walk the rest of the way. If you plan on staying here, you may co rider not bringing so much baggage. The hotel.also forint have a lift/elevator. The AC is a plus as well as the hot water. The room is decently clean, but there is quite a bit of dust as this is a dusty city. Only decent store for necessities are the Oxxos. Need to take taxi to go to supermarket if you need more than what is carried in Oxxos. Took tour and van broke down. We ended up having to walk for quite a while for the rest of the tour before another van came for us. AND we paid for everything along the tour...museums, mines, etc.So, cost of tour only included van and driver. Tour is also only done is Spanish. Room is quite small even for ywo people. Can be noisy. Door and lock is quite flimsy. NO safe in room. NO lift/elevator. Bed very hard as welk as pillows. Food in hotel IS TERRIBLE and can be quite expensive for the quality, you may consider dropping the cost of the free breakfast. The photos make the room look much bigger...it is not. Tours aren't cheap and for us wasn't worth it. Might as well just hire a private driver. Had to pay fir everything on the tour as nothing was included in the cost...so make sure before you pay. The city is very crowded with both people and cars and traffic is crazy. The city would be wonderful if cars weren't allowed within the inner city. The room and area was much too expensive. Not worth the value.
