I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Guangzhou Haixinsha. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and throughout my stay the hotel offered so many thoughtful touches and little extras that made the experience feel truly special. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. One of the absolute highlights of the hotel is the rooftop bar and terrace. The panoramic view is simply breathtaking, especially in the evening, making it the perfect place to relax with a drink while overlooking the Guangzhou skyline and Canton Tower. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou and will definitely choose Hotel Indigo again when I return.

Staying here feels exactly like being in a peaceful, cozy village, even though you are right in the heart of a bustling metropolis. The island location is unique and incredibly special. It gives you the perfect escape from the city rush without ever leaving it. I absolutely love this place and cannot wait to come back!

Indigo is a quiet oasis away from the bustle, noise, crowds and traffic of Guangzhou. This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective. Public transport options are a bit of a hike away, fine if you Didi but not so otherwise. There is nothing just "outside the door". Nice decor in a sort of modern jazz/art deco vibe. The room was spacious but there was a weird elevated "stage area" with a workout mat that took up a lot of space; not our thing. We checked-in late on our first day, unfortunately the room that was allocated must have had a water leak and it smelled very dank and musty. The staff must have known because there was a dehumidifier and scent machine in the room. We complained the next morning and to their credit we were moved to an odour-free room. Just would have been nice not to have needed to complain. The rooftop bar (with great views over the Pearl River and Canton Tower) has a minimum charge of RMB300 per person; which by Chinese standards is a small fortune.

The location of the hotel on the Haixinsha island giving a view on both banks of the river. The hotel is like a resort isolated on the island. The facilities are great with amazing WiFi, many accessories for example a speaker to enjoy your bath a toilet with a warm seat.... There was more staff to serve the guests than actual guests making everything go very smoothly. Missing hooks in the toilet to dry your towels. I wished we had a room overlooking on the water

The location is so incredible with the most perfect view of Canton Tower. The hotel is large and spread over a cute island right on the river. The bar and restaurant were cute and offered a wide range of options. The infinity pool provided a nice relaxing afternoon. NA
