Their friendly personnel, the restaurant is excellent and the quality of the bed None

Large rooms, great a/c, comfortable bed, highly recommend the fillet mignon with mushroom sauce, with mash and steamed veggies on room service, was delicious ! Water didn’t get too hot in shower on second morning (assume as hotel busier)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Palace Hotel Guayaquil and can highly recommend it. It’s fresh and clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s not noisy even though it’s located downtown. The breakfast is good. The restaurant also has a good reputation in the city, especially for its special lemonade. I’d say the hotel deserves the name “Palace” not because of its interior, but because of the people who work there. Someone is doing a wonderful job hiring and training the staff. Everyone is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. 5+ for service. Special thanks to Christian, who was extremely responsive and helped me organize my trip. The hotel has an excellent location: a multi-story shopping mall is just across the street, and there is a large supermarket on the corner as well. Guayaquil is one of the best places in Ecuador for shopping—the balance of prices and quality is amazing compared to the USA, Europe, and Russia.

Very friendly help desk...

They were great arranging a taxi service to and from the airport. The area is a little suspect at night but fine if you are not going out.

The rooms smelled like mold and humid and i had to leave and they didnt return my money.

Very clean and staff was wonderful The streets around it were desolate. It was a little unnerving.

The Hotel is in good location and they keep your bag while you’re on tours. The property is a bit dated and very little to offer as facilities.

Room/bed was comfy, staff were (generally) friendly and helpful, there was a decent selection at breakfast. They let me check out at 2pm. Room not exactly like in the photos (no robes, kettle etc), the gym had just 3 pieces of equipment (and I had to get on my hands and knees to find the switch to turn on the treadmill. I couldn't find it at first so I called down and they sent someone up more than 20 minutes later, and he tried to press stop during my running, then watched me run for a full 2 minutes before leaving, was a completely bizarre experience!), and no A/C. I pre ordered and paid for taxi shuttles through the hotel, which was fine when arriving, but when leaving I believe they forgot to order one, and it showed up 25 minutes late.
