cool sea water good room facilities nice historical downtown and amphitheatre we were in Selectum last year... this time there are a lot of plastic on the sea bottom everywhere ((( food is a bit worse than year ago

Exceptional views,location,accomodations

The views from the resort are absolutely incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offers a good variety of food, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely try their best to please guests. For the amount of money we paid, we expected a much more luxurious experience. The property feels quite outdated and is definitely in need of improvements and a facelift. The specialty restaurants were also disappointing and very mediocre compared to what we expected from a resort at this price point. The beach and pool areas are extremely crowded, with lounge chairs placed very close to one another, leaving little sense of space or privacy. If you want a more private and relaxing experience, your only real option is to pay extra for a private cabana.

The cleanliness of the hotel, bathrooms, and pool area was exceptional. Sea access was very well maintained, and we appreciated having showers and changing rooms available at the beach. Food quality at the main restaurant was high standard. Despite the hilly terrain, we were able to get everywhere with a stroller thanks to the paths and elevators. We appreciated the kids' day care for children aged 4 and up, along with the daily programme for both kids and adults. Evening events took place every day and were very enjoyable. Although the staff were friendly, very few spoke English. Even at check-in, reception had to search for someone who could communicate with us in English, which came across as unprofessional for a hotel of this type. Additionally, some staff members frequently touched and cuddled our 8-month-old baby. While likely well-intentioned, we found this uncomfortable and would have preferred more respect for our personal space.

I had a wonderful stay at Selectum Colours Bodrum and would highly recommend it. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. From the housekeeping team to the bartenders and the entertainment staff, every interaction was pleasant. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities throughout the day and evening, making it easy to stay entertained without ever needing to leave the property. There was always something to do, whether you wanted to relax or join in the fun. The food at the main restaurant was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The specialty restaurants also served high-quality meals and provided a nice variety throughout the stay. The views were absolutely stunning. Waking up to the beautiful scenery every day was one of the highlights of the trip.

The variety of choices of things and activities to do . The location of the rooms and access is too hard especially for older people , Ie. Too many stairs .

The stay at this hotel was wonderful. The live music was fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious and the merch was excellent. The views from the hotel were incredible. The grounds were spacious and the beach was great. The rooms in 1431 were not up to date. The sofa could have been dry-cleaned, and there were bleach stains on the faucets and showers in the bathroom. It was as if the hotel hadn't had a thorough cleaning before opening for the season.I understand it's off-season, but there was a complete lack of entertainment. There's an hour-long dance in the lobby in the evening. It's clear that almost no one dances; there's no space for it (although they could have held outdoor dances), no active entertainers to attract people, and no contests. There was only one active male entertainer. The girls came out during the day, danced their dance for a minute, and that was it.

I had a decent stay overall. The location is excellent, and the view from my room was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food selection was excellent with plenty of variety. The cleanliness could definitely be better, and the room equipment feels outdated and in need of an update. The phone inside the room was not working, which was inconvenient, and one of the elevators was out of service during my stay.

The property impressed me with its comfort and cleanliness. The duplex room was well-appointed and equipped with all necessary amenities. The food offered was both delicious and varied. One of the highlights of the hotel was the scenic view of the sea. The restaurant and bar staff were consistently welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service. Considering the pricing, the hotel offers good value for money. The location is convenient; however, it is not in close proximity to the central marina. The hotel's entertainment program did not meet five-star standards and lacked traditional or themed offerings. The sound system was substandard, and the music selection targeted a teenage audience, misaligned with the primary guest profile of families and couples. Additionally, reception staff were observed to be unwelcoming during check-in.

The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. There are many joyful activities. The seaside is easily accessible and the sand beach is beautiful. The food is delicious. There are many options to select various tastes over different cuisines. The staff is helpful, cheerful, friendly and kind. Everything was perfect but some equipments at the gym and Game Center need to be replaced.

Location and the view, food variety, private beach. Good value for money. Some of the staff need training on how to handle customer requests! Attitude, language barrier and friendliness .... Also housekeeping needs improvement! Basic things like refilling the shampoo, tissue box, changing towels were missing during our stay!

Great layout - all the facilities and amenities are just a minute walk away. It was never too crowded. Plenty of food and drinks options around the clock. The beach has more than enough space for everyone: pier, shade, sun whatever you prefer. Gümbet bay is clean and offers comfortable entry to the sea with a mix of sand and smooth rocks. Hotel offers scenic views over the bay both from bars and restaurants and sea view rooms. Hotel territory itself is green and full of flowers making even the hottest days manageable. Good location overall - not too far from Bodrum proper and just 45 minutes away from the Airport Lack of early breakfast options might be an unpleasant surprise on early arrival or check out. There is a 24/7 restaurant available, but if you come earlier then 7 am you are offered a dinner menu. Toilet flushes are somewhat random and at times don't work properly. After lunch swimming pool animation was quite loud - might be a problem if you want to rest and wait until the sun calms down in the afternoon. And the windmill had no blades! ?

very old .the rooms are not clean.staff most of them tuff .so disapointed

Property is big & spacious. Staff is nice. Its clean. Many aquatic activities available. The coastline, although long, is very short in depth. Lounge chairs are extremely close to each other and very difficult to find available ones bcs its always crowded. With a property that big, there could have been another pool other than the main one, which is always very busy. The main restaurant offers average quality food & many dishes are there just to fill some racks, Salad bar is very basic, lots of repetitions every day.
