Breakfast buffet was above average You must be careful when you book with this hotel....and honestly I would not book thru third party again. I booked through booking.com because La Vistas website is a bit confusing even with Google Translate. I booked 2 rooms 2 nights 2 people...my bad. We were 4 people. I interpreted it to be 2 people per room. The hotel said....sorry ....new contract if you want to stay because you are 4 people, not 2, and our rate doubled.....yes doubled. We had 2 rooms already booked. But they used the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. I argued that their only increase in cost was going to be 2 additional breakfasts for 2 days... and they proceeded to offer us a rate double the original booking.com rate... The hotel is not worth double the early booking rate. Be aware...if you decide to stay at this location, they charge per person, not per room. Read the small print. Btw it seems that many hotels in hokkaido do charge per person and not per room. I have grown accustomed to 2 people always being included in a room rate. I won't get fooled again when traveling in Asia or elsewhere.

Clean and new construction. Lovely Onsen on the top floor. Don’t usually do the inclusive breakfast but in this case it was part of the package. Breakfast was off the charts great. Nothing. All good.

Modern, well run, city hotel in a good location. Facilities were good, in particular, the Japanese bathhouse on the top floor with great nighttime views. Just the slightest risk it will be overrun by Chinese tour groups overflowing from its nearby sister hotel

We arrived at La Vista to be told we had booked The Annex. Unsure how that came about! It was VERY expensive for no apparent reason We have been on a road trip for a couple of months and thought we’d treat our selves to somewhere special. Very disappointing

great location near red brick warehouse, asaichi, and Mt.Hakodate. great place but stay only. It would be better and more reasonable to have breakfast at the Asaichi nearby.

Hot spring is nice with a good view and breakfast choices are amazing. Nothing in particular.
