The staff is excellent. The young gentleman from Nepal, GC delivers meticulous service. Even though the location is not readily accessible but fortunately it's a few minutes walk from the bus stop. Room is very spacious and clean, breakfast is great and we really like the dinner, all sabu sabu with different menu, perfect for us in this season with a temperature of 13°. We will definitely consider to come back in the furure. We arrive at 7pm and the uphill road is really dark. Strongly recommend to install light to illuminate the hotel sign at night.

Nice traditional onsens - separate male and female pools that switch during the day, so you can experience both baths. Self service drink station available all day and self-service bar available after 3p. Property is dark and dated. You can see the pics - feels like the interior hasn’t been significantly updated in many decades (potentially 2-4 decades). Property is just well past due for a major refresh.

The Japanese style room was very clean and pretty. Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Free drink bar was a nice plus.

The hotel is wonderful! It's off the beaten path, incredibly quiet and lovely. The staff were very lovely. The onsen is a dream. The dinner and breakfast were far beyond our expectations, full of fresh, local ingredients. There are hot and cold drinks available at all times. We had a great time! The bus ride to the hotel was very long and crowded. The route is twisty-turny and there was tons of traffic. It should have taken 20 minutes but took over an hour. Also, be sure to book a taxi a day in advance if you want to go anywhere from the hotel.

How far it was from the main train station, Odawara

It is lovely hotel, which was close to the bus station and in quiet area.

I chose the traditional breakfast once, and I was very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the meal. The bath with natural hot spring water can only accommodate up to 3 people due to its size.

Lovely ryokan, close to the bus stop. Friendly staff. The shabu shabu and breakfast were excellent. My 9yo and I loved the onsen experience we had there, but note the onsen is quite small. We had it to ourselves when we used it, which was perfect. The ryokan might consider a booking system for the onsen like some other ryokans have, given it's size.

A great place and great food. Close to the bus stop and to nice museums.

a good experience in a hotel with Onsen

It was simply lovely!

Incredibly pleasant and clean onsen, as I understood, belongs to a family that does everything and organizes everything independently. The food is unbelievably delicious and there is a lot of it. They allowed people with tattoos to visit the onsen, which is also a plus. all good

We had a pleasant stay there! Since now the best place we have been to in Japan. Really friendly staff, cozy house and rooms, traditional, nice ones to relax. We had breakfast and dinner there which was both amazing!! Especially the dinner (shabu shabu). There is a bus stop a few meters down the street where you can directly get to the train station.
