Location was excellent. Steps from the ski lifts. I mean it could use a renovation but it isn’t a deal breaker. At least not for me. I enjoyed my stay here. I would stay again.

Location and free parking in lot The hotel is very outdated which means it can only ever be to a certain level of cleanliness - such as permanent stains on light shades/furniture etc. The carpet in our room had stains (one looked like a cigarette burn) and we didn’t feel comfortable with no shoes on. If you arrived back at the hotel before 3pm, all the lights were turned off in the lobby and ski storage room with no staff to be seen. Just a very odd vibe in the whole place.

Great location, clean and well maintained, relatively large room (for Japan), has onsen access, overall good value for money. Everything is very old, bathroom is not very comfortable though well maintained

Location and Onsen Run down hotel. Host not very accommodating... I asked for a taxi to the bus stop as I had lots of heavy luggage and he told me to just walk it’s only down the road. I got the feeling he would’ve treated me better from the beginning if I wasn’t a solo traveler. Only one small washer and dryer in the cluttered basement. Could smell cigarette smoking but was supposed to be nonsmoking. Just very disappointing. Not worth the money.

It’s an old hotel but it was cozy and did the job. I liked the breakfast; everything was fresh. The coin laundry was incredibly helpful and the dryer was better than I thought. Staff was nice. I’m glad there’s a restaurant attached to it. It made everything so much easier.

Small hotel very close to ski lift. Very nice and very hot onsen (hot bath). Traditional breakfast included, but no coffee. Ski room and storage in basement. 2 restaurants in same building, and lots more within walking distance, also close to bus station for bus to Nagano and small convenience store. Friendly and helpful staff. Worn down and outdated, old interior and furniture. But everything works and its clean. The hotel has not seen any upgrades since they had winter Olympics there 1998 it seems.

Great staff, great location, great value. Breakfasts were wonderful, Onsen relaxing after a busy day skiing.
