Clean comfortable room. We were there during the heat wave and the AC kept the room comfortable.

The bed in the hotel room was comfterable. There were additional chairs. We were traveling with our kids. The couch was turned into a 2nd bed. So that took up most of the space. There was a bit of space with shelves to unpack our clothing so we didn't have to live out of our sutecases. We had the breakfest almost every morning. It was very good. The hotel gave each of the boys a little welcome gift. The boys loved it. Where this hotel was located was right next to the main trainstation. To get to the main trainstation you needed to walk though a very rough neighborhood. There were people using drugs. Prositutes selling themselves for sex. There were people passed out on the side of the road. It smelt very badley. One day I saw feces on the sidewalk we were walking down, not dog poop. It was not a plesent to walk down with our little boys. No AC in the hotel. Very hot in our room. It was hard to sleep. With the windows open there was constant sirens. Or people driving crazy and lots of yelling.

The location was not that safe.

As a four-star hotel, it really doesn’t feel like it has reached the level - Very poor location. Anti-social behavior right outside every day. Feels very unsafe walking around - Facilities are old and broken. Hair dryer max flow doesn’t work. Landline phone doesn’t work. - Breakfast is a rip-off and very plain. They charge €26 for some bread, eggs and sausages. - The so-called fitness center doesn’t have a single weight, not even a dumbbell - These is a used cream/milk pod in the coffee area, makes us feel uncomfortable about the hygiene of the place

Great breakfast. Hotel was clean and close to train station. The neighborhood on the walk from the station was a bit sketchy with bags.

The location, I felt very unsafe walking on the street since there were so many drug dealer

The rooms are great! You have everything you need! Longer line at checkout. A key drop box would make it easier.

The hotel is near the U1 subway station, one station away from the Hauptbanhof. There is a Lidl supermarket right in front of the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very good. Breakfast was good for the price, with coffee machines spread around the room. The staff was very polite and friendly. The curtains in the room don't block light fully, so bring a sleeping mask if it bothers you.

The staff was friendly, but it's Hamburg, so that is in Hamburg's nature!

Stayed in a suite which was spacious and nice. Parking garage was very narrow and hard to navigate. Ended up scratching my car pretty bad, which I've never tried in a parking garage before. The walls had many scratches from other accidents. Avoid this garage.

Easy to find, close to hauptbahnhof and the U bahn. They kindly hold your luggage for free and the room was really quiet.

The air conditioner in our room was stuck at 23 degrees and wouldn't go up, so the room stayed a bit cold. We called reception and they offered us another room, but since we were only staying for one day, we didn't move. However, no one from the staff came to check on the unit, which we didn't like. We ended up sleeping in a cold room.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean, offering good value overall. The location is good overall, but the area between the train station and the hotel is frequented by drug addicts, which makes it feel a bit unsafe. The use of the sauna was unclear, as it was not clearly explained that there is no changing room in the sauna area and that bathrobes were not always available to go there from the room. You could tell that most guests were confused the first time they went there.

Reasonably sized rooms, with good range of clothes hanging/storage facilities etc. Very good breakfasts - excellent range and quality of food and drink available. Staff were pleasant enough. Functional room safe. Very clean. The big gripe with the hotel was that the beds were far too soft. It's not obvious that they were too old - a better bet is that they were simply of mediocre quality. See picture attached - brand Joka or Joker? - it felt like the joke was on me at times... Perhaps I should have made more of this while at the hotel, but given that I'd asked explicitly for a firm mattress on booking, and at arrival, and having had the room changed from the original allocation, it wasn't clear that further complaints were going to get one anywhere. Another problem was that it wasn't possible to illuminate the table/desk independently of the other room lighting, i.e. having the desk lit while the rest of the room was dark. So, impossible to read nocturnally while one's friend slept. The walk along the main street from the Hauptbahnhof is somewhat unpleasant, especially after dark - it's probably safe though, I suppose. Best to get the metro to the nearest station, perhaps.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and overall the property is good. Public transport is very convenient, with train stations close by, making it easy to get around the city. The city center is also within walking distance, about 15 minutes away, which was a big plus. The only downside for me was the location. While it is well connected, the street can be quite noisy, especially at night, and there are many intoxicates and drugs people nearby. It didn’t feel dangerous, but it was uncomfortable to walk around, especially in the evenings.

Close to the train and other city attractions. The surrounding area is a bit unsafe at night
