The location was awesome. Super centrally located, easy walking distance to the Alster, city center and central station. Some of the staff were unhelpful and annoyed by simple questions. Not 5 star quality.

The rooftop bar is beautiful - perfect for a light dinner with a view! Breakfast was great too.

View from breakfast area is breath taking. The staff in the breakfast area very friendly and attentive. Overall breakfast was good. Water in the swimming pool was cold could not use it.

Great location and big, clean rooms. The air conditioning did not work properly. Very old system and putting it in -3 also did not cool the room. The controls did not work properly either.

Good view from the room and the curtains were decent at blocking light. Shower was nice. Location was nice and central, and a short walk from both the lake and into the town itself. Balcony was nice, and overlooked the lake, but it was thin. Too thin for either of us to chance standing out on it. Staff were lovely and friendly. The bed was uncomfortable. None of the sockets were usable with USB and plugging the USB in with a connector plug didn't work either. The air conditioning worked, but not as well as some other German hotels. The door to the bathroom was frosted, so the light shone into the room whenever anyone used it. It was also a sliding door, which rattled noisily in the frame when opened and closed, and didn't sit flush with the frame.
