At 9:00 a.m., hotel staff attempted to enter our room and caused a considerable amount of noise. They knocked on the door repeatedly and even tried to open the door using a key card, despite the fact that we had not given them permission to enter. Afterwards, there was constant noise in the hallway. This was extremely disturbing and completely unacceptable, especially at that time in the morning. Guests should be able to expect privacy and peace during their stay.

I reserved NH Hamburg Horner Rennbahn because it is part of the well-reputed NH hotel chain. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the property was actually operated as PLAZA INN, which is clearly not up to the standards expected from NH Hotels (4-star). This was extremely disappointing and misleading. Apparently, it was a transition period from NH Hamburg Horner Rennbahn to PLAZA INN, and it was chaotic. The overall service has been poor. We experienced repeated issues with our room door, which would not open properly, forcing us to visit the reception multiple times before the issue was resolved. The refrigerators were dirty, and one of them even appeared to have bacterial growth inside and had a terrible smell. To make matters worse, I checked the PLAZA INN website and found that the room rates listed there are significantly lower than what I paid through this booking. I paid approximately €188 per room, while the same rooms are listed for around €125 per room on their own website, and we had three rooms reserved. So we ended up paying a lot more. Booking.com provided around 56 dollars to my wallet, but it is not sufficient at all considering what we paid for and what we got. I will be very careful reserving a hotel using Booking.com from now on.

Clean, friendly staff, we felt taken care of. We booked a room for 2 adults and a 6 year old. They gave us a room with a large bed and an foldable chair. We had plenty of room, plus a really nice view. The temperature was perfect, the hotel is located at about 6 min walking distance from the U2 which brings you to the city centre. Exceptional price for the quality we got. Thanks, and we would return again. Totally recommend.
