Very friendly people, they makes you feel comfortable:)

No breakfast was not a problem for us. Bathroom a little outdated. Overall price a little high.

Very small elevator. Reception is open for limited hours

Close to the CCH if you’re attending a conference. Clean, simple rooms, located on a charming pedestrian boulevard full of restaurants and shops - plenty of wonderful outdoor dining options available steps from your door. Coffee shops are plentiful on the block and open early if you need a caffeine fix in the morning. Proprietors are very responsive to messages on Booking.com and phone. I was there during a heat wave and there’s no AC in the room that I had, so the room was very warm. However, when I mentioned it, they brought me a fan right away and that helped a lot. Probably wouldn’t be an issue in normal weather for the region.

Location value staff No coffee or tea. My bathroom across hall

This is a creepy old two star hotel at best. Much worse in real life than in the pics. I actually only stayed one night and cancelled and left.

Exactly what I was looking for, an older, clean, comfortable hotel with a nod to the past, with character and flair of a place whose prime was probably in the 60’s. 2-person elevator was just enough for one person and luggage to meet the rest of us on the 3rd floor. The spiral staircase wrapping around the elevator was straight from a lovely Audrey Hepburn movie. The staff was friendly and accommodating, letting us store our luggage before check-in so that we could walk around the city. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms rooms clean. The entrance was ornate, a wonderful change from the typical, generic lobbies in most hotels. We had a little trouble turning the key at the main door to get in the hotel at night. Might need an upgrade lock mechanism. Though not a problem for us, the entrance has many stairs from street level. I work with seniors and see this as a barrier for low mobility guests. Not built for wheelchair access.

location is best possible and location is important. near the lake and very exclusive neighborhood. many restaurants just net door. super friendly staff (husband+ wife from Asia), very helpful and professional. Super value for money, if you just need a good bed and do not want to make distances.

room bit too small
-
Size of the rooms. We stayed in Rooms 304 and 305, and they were too tiny. Hardly any space to move around. The photos of the single-bed rooms weren't provided. If I had seen that the rooms were so tiny, I would have looked for accommodation somewhere else.

The walls were a bit thin.

Perfect location! The hotel is very clean, nothing fancy but offered everything I needed.
-
We loved the large room and bathroom! The staff members were friendly and the location was perfect for exploring the city center on foot.
-
Perfect for my short stay. The staff were very helpful.

Location !!! Staff !!! Excellent We can easily move around with public transportation. Very minor , we already knew it before we book this place that front desk hours is not 24 hours . Did not bother us as we were out most of the time.

The room was really big! Location was excellent! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It certainly wasn’t fancy, but for us (we only sleep there!) it was perfect.
