Location to public transit was good and to nearby restaurants. There was no hot water in the room/shower, the bed was small for two large people.

Smelly bathroom. A lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms
-
Easy access from local train stations, with shops and supermarkets around. Quiet neighbourhood. The room looked a bit unclean, old fashioned, dark and dusty, with dark grey colored bed sheets, which does not suit a hotel room, and there was no kettle or coffee or even a water jug or glasses to have some water. The pillows were too thin, square shaped Ikea types, which were uncomfortable, and there was lots of noise coming from the top floor rooms where some kids were running around past midnight. So we felt that this room was not worth the money they charged. Moreover, the person or people running this hotel never appeared physically, and were communicating through whatsapp only, and several hours after checking out, was asking us to pay some local levies, which was never mentioned in their details in booking.com page. But later they waived those, as we informed about this.

Exceptional

Close to the trains. No soap or shampoo provided for the room. The rooms are sectioned parts of a house with eclectic and aged furniture. If you do not get the one reserved parking spot, you will have to hint the crowded streets for a spot.

Location is good, close to the S-Bahn and lots of places to eat nearby. Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is having construction work on the outside and has scaffolding front and back; we stayed over the weekend and didn’t see or hear any workmen. Reception was closed when we got there so check-in was via a telephone call and directions to use a key safe, despite agreeing with the hotel for a 4pm check in. Booked a family room and it was filthy; cobwebs, mould, litter under beds, used tissue on radiator, hole in duvet cover, broken furniture, extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and was clogged up. Really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend for any length of stay.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was super welcoming and friendly The room smelled from cigarettes and it was not really clean

Staff very friendly, nice room. Good location for taking the metro to the city Centre (even if the rail works got us a bit confused). Other guests were also friendly. The only thing that comes to mind was that the orange juice tasted a bit off.

The room was initially clean. No soap or shampoo for the shower. No glass anywhere for drinking or rinsing mouth. I was in the top floor (#10) with a sloping ceiling, so bumped my head in the extremely small shower. NO SHEETS FOR THE BED. The radiator provided heat, but was directly under the window, so closing the drapes or curtains blocked the heat --- had to leave them open and let light shine in. The room was only serviced 1 out of 5 days, and even that was minimal. No staff when I checked in at 6:15 PM --- had to call international to learn how to get inside. Staff knocked on my door at 10:59, demanding I leave IMMEDIATELY, then again five minutes later --- both times interrupting my packing, as I *was* trying to leave. Also demanded I pay a "tourist" tax which had not been mentioned.

Great location, beautiful old school like design and infrastructure. Very spacious as well.

The owner was very accommodating in letting me store my cycle that I had boxed, until it was time for me to leave at 6pm (next day), and providing a key to get in and out of the hotel.
