Easy check in. Not so far from city center. Location is not safe. We were there only two nights and one night came police at 2am because somebody was very loud and it was scary.

I stayed two nights at Heimat St. Pauli and had a smooth experience. The hotel is located right in the heart of St. Pauli, very close to the metro and perfect for exploring the neighborhood. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were self-service, you check in at the bar on the ground floor and drop the key in a box when you leave. There’s no reception staff, but everything was clearly explained and easy to manage.

I liked the staff. Super friendly person that was absolutely kind and nice to us, They explained everything in detail and we had no issues understanding the steps. The check out was also super easy. We liked the bed, it was comfortable. The windows were not keeping the sounds out at all. And it was very loud. Usually you would expect to not hear birds and people talking outside, but those windows didn't do anything. Additionally, the bathroom looked like someone peed on the radiator and didn't look properly cleaned at all. The wallpapers also looked like someone vomited on it and it wasn't properly cleaned.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The floor in the room was truly disgusting. It is high time to change the carpet there. | The courtains were torn. | The staircase and corridor to the rooms were very neglected.

Location is perfect to enjoy St. Pauli, Parking, Easy self check out Rooms smell cigarettes (we tried 3 bedrooms and we picked the one that was smelling the least, but still a bit)

right in the red light district with lots of restaurant and clubs but do feel safe and sound, crowded area so no worry walking outside in the night. the reception is indeed next door so we need some minutes to figure it out. no cleaning service during 3 nights we stayed there so it's more like a host, not a hotel, no lift only staircase so consider your luggage. small shower

The location is close to the river and the city centre and it is in the middle of the "wild" part of the city which I of course knew in advance. But it was pretty quiet in my room. There was some music playing every night but it didn't bother me much. The room itself is basic as one can see on the pictures but it is ok for few nights. The guy at the reception was nice. One wall in the room was dirty and in my opinion it is easy to paint over it.

The host was great Lack of basic stuff in the room but value of the room was equal to the price paid so no complain

The location, you can walk straight to Reeperbahn. You can also join the music in your room. We got our parking place. To much noise from outside. The shower was broken, we had to hold the shower head when showering. The towels where to small. The bed sheets was thin and didn't fit. One Light didn't work.
