It feels like the hotel is old and needs a refresh. We were told that we were upgraded to a suite however our room was far from being a suite. The swimming pool looked good on pictures but practically was quite poor when seen live.

Location is perfect in the old quarters, staff are amazing and super friendly Booked a twin room and upon checkin we were informed of the junior suite with twin bed, but when taken to the room, it looked like a basic room space wise and it was one king bed, we were tired to change and raise the point especially that we were staying for one night only. The room AC was weird! No matter what we control, it didn’t seem to work and they ended up providing a fan in the room

Absolutely everything. We were welcomed with fresh tea and some green been cakes, we got then taken to such a wonderful, beautiful room. They took care of our laundry easily, they had open channel of communicatons not only directly through the hotel lines but also via whatsapp if you wanted. Whe we ordered grabs for transport, they wanted to make sure they knew the car plate and driver's name for our security. More than enough supply of water. The hotel and room beautifully decorated. The staff was phenomenal, nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was terrific, we could walk anywhere if we wanted to. Breakfast delicious and special cater for coeliacs. Stunning! Nothing. They were absolutely fantastic.

The front desk staff were all wonderful. Peter went out of his way to help us with a few issues that happened to us. Paying cash for everything in Vietnam now.

Great location. Clean comfortable facilities. Good breakfast with lots of options both Vietnamese and international. Really excellent staff, particularly the front desk. Nice bar outside on the top floor. There were only about four hangers in the closet, completely inadequate for two people! Extras were never delivered despite our request. Similarly the room really didn't have enough drawers or shelving for two people to completely unpack. Nor was there enough room or surfaces for two suitcases to be left open as makeshift "storage". This was actually pretty common in 4-5 star hotels where we stayed in Vietnam.

Close to the old quarter and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. While the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spotless the bathroom vanity counter was cracked and so were a few tiles in the shower. Maybe they should have been replaced.

Great hotel in a great location in the old town. Easy walk to street food and Train Street. Hotel provides a good breakfast on level 11. Pool too cold to swim in

Wonderful stay! The staff (Peter & Grace) were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved having a balcony. Great location too—would happily stay again.

The location and the staff's attentions really make a difference. The cash only hotel really limited my experience, the breakfast was basic, not so tasteful with bread a few days old. I get it because New Year's holiday bakeries are closed but then they gaslighted me to believe that it was fresh and that they deliver it daily. Also.the pool doesn't match the pictures and overall it's a 3-4.star hotel trying to pose as 5 star and charge you as well. They also tried to gaslight me in believing that I got upgraded and got a bigger room, although Ive checked other rooms on the floor when cleaners were cleaning and left doors opened. One additional note for 5* they sure get small complimentary bottles of water.

It was our second stay at GM Premium Hotel so will not going to repeat myself (see previous review). The hotel is simply great: perfect location, great rooms, very quiet, high quality of furniture, good breakfast, excellent breakfast... should be your first choice in Hanoi. Everything was great, no remarks.

We (a group of 4 people, 2 rooms) all liked absolutely everything about the GM Premium Hotel. It is located in a great place in the middle of the Old Town but the rooms look towards the back yard so they are very quiet and we had a great sleep. The rooms are spacious, very conveniently arranged and with everything necessary for a true 5 star hotel. Everything is very clean. The staff is very attentive and polite. Breakfast is on the top floor and offers a nice view and a great choice of food. We also tried the restaurant and loved th food there. If you are planning a stay in Hanoi this Hotel should be your first choice. Nothing, really nothing. This hotel must be amount the Top 3 of all we have been trying. And we have been to hundreds of them.

Was the best hotel experience in Vietnam (even better than 5 star hotels) - thanks to Lyly in reception!!! Was an amazing service!
