Soleil Boutique Hotel

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was perfect for exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety to start each day. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had the best possible experience. A very special thank you to Cara and Allie, who went above and beyond with their kindness, helpful recommendations, and exceptional service. They made us feel like family and were a big reason our time in Hanoi was so memorable. We highly recommend Soleil Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi and would happily stay here again. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in the old quarter. There is an alleyway with restaurants, cafes, and eateries that are open all day right across the street. I had a suite, and the room was immaculate, and the stay was truly memorable. I came home every night and dished away all of my troubles in the tub.

Our stay there was wonderful....Cara was awesome... they let me and my friend keep our luggage’s there for 3 nights as we were traveling to sapa... the location is away from the old quarter but itz walking distance...or you can take a grab and close to train street...the staff was excellent help us with the luggage’s... the buffet was good too, simple and nice :-) Also, I had accidentally left my phone in the bathroom when I went to collect my luggage. Thankfully, the staff kept it safe, and Cara was able to reach me and let me know she had it such a huge relief! Bathroom door was too small, if you are very big size then you probably need another place.

The Staff were welcoming, friendly, very attentive and helpful. The language difference wasn't a problem at all. The location of the hotel is great. The food was great. All enjoyed the swim up bar on the roof. We would stay here again if we returned to Hanoi.

We loved absolutely EVERYTHING about Soleil Boutique and Spa from our warm welcome at check-in, in particularly, Cara who was an absolute gem, assistance to our room, the incredible breakfast which was hands down the best breakfast we’ve had on our 2-week vacation from the South to North of Vietnam. The hotel amenities and facilities were top notch in terms of cleanliness, decor, and spectacular views of the city. Our favorite part was the friendliness and professionalism of staff that we felt went out of our way to make our stay enjoyable. In addition to Cara, our bartender at the rooftop bar and pool was the best. I can not recall his name but he went out of his way to attend to us to get us out of the rain when it started pouring rain and was very attentive to our needs. I feel like he went above and beyond and was much appreciated. We were very grateful to staff for allowing us to leave our luggage while we waited to leave on our overnight train. Lastly, the spa services we utilized with Soleil were amazing. Thank you to all the spa staff! Not applicable!

The front desk helped arranged an excursion for me. And the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had ever, someone makes the best banana bread and homemade yogurt I’ve ever eaten. Ooo that pool is ice cold!!

Nice hotel, good location in the old Quarter, walking distance to night market held Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Nice sky bar and pool (pool was larger than most star-rated hotels). The staff were kind & helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. We had a reasonably sized balcony with our room, though there was no furniture on it (could be for safety reasons). The room was excellent, with an extra-large bed, a beautiful bathroom, a shower, a bathtub, a desk, a safe, and a large closet; very spacious. The room again was larger than most hotels with the same rating. I would stay here again and recommend it. No complaints from us, although there is only one elevator; inpatient Westerners complained! I am a Westerner to avoid any hate!

We loved our stay at Soleil Hotel in the Old Quarter in Hanoi. This was our first trip to Vietnam and Hanoi was our first location, so they were a great start to our trip. They helped us in coordinating our airport pick ups and a beautiful Catamaran Day Cruise of Ha Long Bay, which really helped us in avoiding any scams or unpleasant surprises. Once we reached Soleil, everything within Old Quarter is a short walk (5 - 20 minutes). We were able to comfortably explore the night market, train street and Hoan Kiem Lake at our own pace. Staying in Old Quarter is definitely the way to go if in Hanoi. Their staff is super attentive and helpful, connecting with us on whatsapp much before the trip and aiding us with any questions we have. There is no pressure in the upselling as well. They provide options and then it's completely up to us if we want to take them up. We loved our stay and would love to come back to Hanoi again. NA

We loved our stay at Soleil. We stayed in the family suite with our two young boys and it was perfect. The hotel is very clean and rooms are quite nice. We loved the rooftop pool and bar area. Above all else, you cannot beat the customer service at this hotel. Every person went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend! No complaints

Great location, great service. Peter was of great help organizing a cruise and day trip to Halong Bay and Ninh Binh for us at a good price. We was available via WhatsApp to answer any questions and sort out small details for us. Can definitely highly recommend.

We were informed about this, so arrived back at the hotel a bit after midnight with the doors locked and everything dark. We stood around for a bit and eventually knocked. After a few minutes we realized someone was sleeping on the couch in the lobby and we eventually got him awake to open up. A bit strange….

Excellent breakfast. The spa is fantstic with very professional therapists. Great location in the city close to all major areas for tourists to see. The hotel is next to a busy street. Noise from cars can be heard. We were there during the soccer match between Vietnam and Thailand. Cars honked horns all night. Room size was smaller than expected.

Great location, still close to everything but just outside the busy old quarter. Breakfast was amazing, beds were comfy. Great shower and bathroom facilities.

It’s an excellent hotel with staff that go above and beyond for you. I reserved a room with them to enjoy a weekend with my partner. Before she arrived, I had purchased a bouquet of flowers. However, I couldn’t find a vase to keep them in. When I asked the staff in the lobby if they had anything I could use, they then searched around the hotel to find the perfect vase for my needs. They supported me in a time of need, when many hotels would simply say they couldn’t do anything. With a great location, excellent facilities, and the perfect staff, I’m confident anyone would have a great experience here. Nothing
