VERY GOOD LOCATION, CLEAN MODERN ROOM WITH A SPACY BATHROOM. NOISE THAT CAME FROM THE BATHROOM WINDOW DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IN AN ALLEY.

Really great hotel for the price we paid. Located right in the Old Quarter, but on a tiny side street which hides it from all the street buzz. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful, speaks good English. They can assist guests with arranging transport, trips and excursions. There is an excellent breakfast - you can chose from more than 10 different options each morning. There was a connecting door between our hotel room and the adjacent one (I suspect most of the rooms have this feature). Because of that you can hear people talking in the neighboring hotel room.

Hidden within the streets of Old Quarters, good spacious rooms. Good washroom too. Reception staff was extremely accommodating, we even kept our luggage with them for 2 days while we visited Sapa for a minimal charge and they kept if safe inside. Breakfast was just delicious. windows open again to another building windows, so windows literally have no use, check the room before you check in.

This hotel was tucked away in an alley slightly away from the center of the Old Quarter, which turned out to be a great thing. We enjoyed quiet, uninterrupted sleep while still being within walking distance of many hotspots, such as Dong Xuan Market and several famous eateries. The room itself was spacious and comfortable for my partner and me. Another perk was having a laundry service (Q Laundry) right next door. They managed to wash and fully dry a whole bag of dirty clothes and two pairs of soiled running shoes within 24 hours. We were honestly surprised that they could do that so quickly and at a very reasonable price. We also appreciated the hotel’s breakfast service from around 6–9am. You can pre-select your breakfast at the reception and hand the slip to the staff the next morning. This was extremely helpful for us since we had an early flight to catch, and being able to enjoy a hot bowl of pho before heading to the airport was exceptional. 1. We were given a corner room that had a shared door with the neighboring unit (see image). Although neither room could actually open it, we could still hear our neighbors playing music and chatting. Thankfully, they were considerate and quietened down around midnight, so we still slept well. However, someone tried to open the shared door in the morning (probably by accident) but it gave us quite a fright. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. 2. At night, the alley transforms into a supper street where locals gather for grilled meats and Vietnamese hotpot. This meant we had to walk through the crowd to get back to the hotel and our clothes would pick up the smell of the food. Given the location, it would be nice if the hotel could provide Febreze or some kind of fabric spray for guests.

We had a great stay at Marigold Hotel! The location is quiet and safe, just a short walk from the Old Quarter. The staff were super friendly and gave helpful tips on food, sights, and massages. Our room was spacious, bright, and the aircon worked perfectly during the summer heat. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and at night the alley turns into a local BBQ spot—great for a quick, affordable dinner. Highly recommend! No great view from the window but it is expected because the hotel is located in the alley.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean. Great selection for breakfast. It was a bit hidden but that okay. Staff gave us another address for our tour driver to pick us up.

Amazing place, pretty, clean and conveniently located near Old Quarter. Staff is very friendly, breakfasts are delicious. Definitely will come here again. Special thanks for tips for travellers in the room! Would be great to have two key cards because we came to the hotel at different times with my friend.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and great portion sizes. Staff were absolutely lovely and the room was large and comfortable. Location was great too. Would 100% stay again. Nothing! It was all brilliant.
