Hanoi Calista Hotel

The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. They even put a key in my room so the the AC would stay on while I was out. The facility is safe and in a great area. It's away from the complete hustle of the Old Quarter so a little quieter but an easy walk to the Old Quarter, Lake, French Quarter, and attractions like the Citadel and Ho Chi Minh museum. The room is clean and it was the most comfortable bed I had in Vietnam. They have breakfast available but I didn't take advantage. Too much good food in the area to try. The Bun cha place next door is excellent. This was my second stay and I would absolutely stay again.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly and the property clean. Breakfast was very nice with some western foods as well - the crepes were great! Breakfast was served in their additional property a one minute walk - not a big deal. Optional massage was extremely affordable.

Our stay was excellent; the hotel staff were helpful, kind, and friendly in every aspect. Because the hotel is located in the Old Quarter, we were able to walk to all the lively streets and areas. The rooms were adequate. The bathroom and toilet need a little renovation, but it didn't bother us. We didn't experience any noise issues. We especially thank Amanda and her team for their attentive service. The bathroom needs renovation.

The rooms are spacious, the staff attentive and the proximity to local attractions. Make it is to plan a great stay. The hotel also assisted with day trip arrangements and the breakfast was more than adequate for a family of five, wherein the Gen Z kids are fussy and the parents, English and Philippine are culturally diverse.

The location in the French Quarter is great, very central, but just off a main street, so stepping out of the hotel is more mellow. The rooms each had a AC unit, which was huge considering we traveled in June. We were in the 2nd building, about 50 yards from the main building with more apartment style rooms, which was great for traveling with 3 kids! The staff though was extremely helpful!! 10/10 Communicating via Booking.com and WhatsApp prior to the trip, and then helping us with directions, ATM locations, and communicating with tour drivers as needed! Shuttle driver met us at the hotel, so we didn’t have to deal with finding our own taxi. Overall, it was a fantastic choice!

Great location as most of the tourist spots were only a 5–15 minute walk away. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Amanda and Grace, who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Even though we checked in late, they upgraded our room, which was a really nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay so much that we ended up extending for another night. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight with lots of tropical fruits like passion fruit, dragon fruit, watermelon, pineapple, and mango, plus tasty local Vietnamese dishes. It was also great value for the price. The hotel was clean and well-kept but some parts of the property could use a refresh or upgrade

Comfortable rooms. Fit three teens well in triple room with balcony. Rollaway bed was good quality. Staff were incredibly caring when a few of us in our group were unwell. Given it’s Hanoi, it was pretty quiet - probably helps being in a side street off the main road. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The service at breakfast was also excellent. The breakfast room was a little walk away. The staff made us takeaway boxes for our early checkout. We were under the impression there was a rooftop bar but it was not ready.

Very central location, off a main road in a quiet side street. Rooms quite spacious. Lots of shopping, restaurants etc in the areas, train street (almost) around the corner. staff *very* friendly and helpful, nice breakfast in adjacent building, just the right thing to start the (sight-seeing) day!

Upon arrival, the hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, customer oriented, communicative, informative. Specially Ms. Amanda at the Front Office who was assisting my family...also the other hotel staff were perfect...The bedroom were very comfortable...in overall it was a good experience, nice and good place to rest after whole day trip in Ha Noi. Surely we will plan again to visit Ha Noi and stay at Calista Hotel and other cities in Vietnam.

Had a really good stay here — the rooms were comfy and everything felt easy from check-in to check-out. The location is spot-on, close to everything you’d want without the hassle. But the real highlight was the staff — honestly the greatest ever, so warm and attentive that they made the whole trip feel special. It’s one of those places that just gets it right, and I’d happily come back. Room size was smaller, Breakfast place was outside the hotel but just a few buildings away. Breakfast place could have been cleaner though overall it was good.

LOCATION. STAFFS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL PROPERTY / ROOM NOT WELL MAINTAINED. LIGHT AND ELECTRICITY OUTLET BROKEN. KETTLE BROKEN. THEY REQUEST US TO PAY 5% EXTRA ON THE COST IF WE PAY BY CREDIT CARD WHICH IS NOT DISCLOSED WHEN WE BOOK ONLINE. THIS IS A BAD PRACTICE

the bathroom design was a little inconvenient. You have to open and close the bathroom door before you can reach the toilet.
