The staff was literally the most helpful and kind hotel staff I have encountered anywhere in the world! I couldn’t believe how helpful they were. Also their English was excellent. Everything was perfect.

Fabulous staff (very good English). Lovely, very clean and comfortable rooms. Elevator for upper floors. It’s located on a less busy side street that was more quiet than much of the old quarter despite the train near by. The street narrows at one end, not allowing cars to go through but the taxis always managed to drop us off and pick us up fine (the hotel staff was great at staying in contact with taxis). Thank you to all the fabulous ladies at Cascada! It wasn’t a problem (because we liked going to cafes) but there is no restaurant on site. There was water, tea and coffee in the room and complementary bananas and rice crackers in the lobby.

We stayed here on two occasions while visiting Hanoi and it was great! The staff were very helpful and sweet. When we arrived, they upgraded our room for free because a bigger room was available. Everything was comfortable. Some of the rooms overlook the train but you can’t really hear it, so it wasn’t a bother. Nothing- everything was great

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was great for the activities we had scheduled for our time in Hanoi. My kids loved seeing the trains come by right outside the balcony. The only draw back I can say was that the entry is not on the Main Street and therefore our car could not pick us up and drop us off directly at the hotel. It really was only an issue on the drop off with us not knowing exactly where the hotel/entry were located but hotel staff was very helpful in directing us where to be dropped and where the hotel was in relation. The walk is very short regardless.

This was my last hotel on a 5-week trip to Vietnam. I was just looking for somewhere to sleep for two nights, but the staff was so sweet and helpful that it made the stay quite memorable! I had fun chatting with the women at the desk. The room was basic but a decent size, very clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones I’ve slept in here. I dropped off my laundry in the morning and it was washed and folded by the afternoon! When the taxi arrived (that they arranged) to pick me up for the airport, the staff member walked all the way out to the car with me and handed me a parting gift!

Very centrally located, bare-bones hotel, yet comfortable and clean, outstanding staff. The room is quite small (unless you get the balcony rooms) and a little dark.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed here twice, and both rooms we had were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Location is nice because it’s quiet, but still easy to walk to everything. Nothing!

Besides, the street in front of the hotel was renewed and now it is much easier to access the hotel. ^^ Nothing really.
