We liked the Big bathroom with two sinks. The room was a little bit dark during day but still it was good room.

The staff had exceptional service. Most especially we want to extend deepest gratitude to Lily. She made the check in so easy. She was also very accommodating and gave us our room to shower in before our very late checkout to catch the train to Sapa. she even arranged for A to go breakfast for our group.  during our day, there was construction going on, and we think it affected electricity. However, the Hotel was able to provide a generator, but with limited service. However, that didn’t really affect our stay too negatively.

The property was clean, centrally located in the old town, with a delicious breakfast and comfortable beds. The staff was truly exceptional (shout out to David and Susan) —they went out of their way to take care of me, including arranging airport transfers, bus reservations, and sending me off with a lunch on the day I left.

Maybe a larger western breakfast buffet / halal option ( but it's the same in all the 5 hotels we stayed in Vietnam ?)

We found this hotel in an excellent location, walk to the lake and great food and coffee surrounding it. Around a 1km walk to train street, which was a huge highlight for us. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the rooms and meals were fantastic! Nothing at all!

Wow wow wow I can’t even explain how amazing was my stay!!! first - all the stuff was amazing especially Lily, Grace and Daria - that was so gentle and nice and really just want to help us with everything we needed. Additionally, the breakfast was very good. A lot of variety of options - there is a menu you get a menu and you can choose whatever you want and there was an omelette there was an healthy breakfast and there was a toastb with avocado - a lot of options and it was great! I think the breakfast can be until 10 AM and not until 9:30 AM but thats was OK. Additionally, we did the spa in the hotel. The spa was great, but I did better spa treatment in my life before but overall it was nice. The main benefit is that you stay in the same hotel of the spa and then you just can go to the room take a shower take your refreshment and in these point of view it was nice.

The Solaria Hanoi was the hotel highlight of a month of travel across Asia this summer, as the hospitality there was the best I experienced anywhere. The front desk could answer any question we had and consistently went out of their way to help, finding tour options, suggesting outings, and solving little problems. The breakfast staff was just as knowledgeable with advice about the city. A special shout-out to Paulus, Grace, and Daria, though truthfully, every member of the staff was wonderful. The Solaria will be my home away from home whenever I visit Hanoi. Highly recommended. Two small suggestions: First, our room had a water kettle but no tea or coffee. A couple of tea bags and some 3-in-1 coffee mix would make for a nice in-room teatime. Second, the family room was lovely, large, and comfortable, but quite dark. A better mix of overhead lighting would brighten it up considerably.

Decorations are cozy and relax. Excellent location! Spa service was awesome! Staff were friendly and attentive! Breakfast was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay satisfied. We would come back. No pool.

The location and the staff were the real highlights of our visit, along with the massages at the spa. The rooftop bar was cool but the temperature sure wasn’t. At 35c+ we were melting even in the evening. There’s a great little restaurant/beer place two doors down that we frequented for a cold beer and to watch the people go by on the way to/from the lake. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected based on the pictures I saw but that more likely on me.
