Room was clean and amenities were nice. Staff was very friendly. Predatory business practices. Don't believe all the positive reviews. They overbook the hotel, tell you the room you booked isn't available, and force you to pay a higher fee for a "nicer" room. They do allow you to cancel free of charge. Regardless if you accept their offer, they cancel your reservation on booking so you cannot leave a bad review. We booked two rooms with two twin beds. They confirmed the reservation, said there would be no issue, and then shortly before arrival told us only a single family room was available with 21:30 check in at a higher price than the original room we booked! We pretty much had to accept because we were tired from a long journey to Hanoi and weren't in a state to look for a fair deal elsewhere. We also came back to this hotel a few days later (nonrefundable reservation) and they pulled the same thing. We booked two rooms with twin beds, and they said they only had rooms with a single bed. The second time around they didn't charge us a higher price for the room. FYI the cheaper room, has a window facing a stairwell with the light always on. The window does not have blackout curtains, so it can be uncomfortable for light sleepers.

My husband and I stayed here last year and came back. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed is excellent and we slept well. The location is perfect, part of the Old Town but not in the middle of craziness. It’s super close to everything, but far enough to have a nice, quiet time. We would stay here again. The best part is the super-friendly, polite staff. They will always be there to assist with any needs. Highly recommend.

The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly, both night and morning crew. My wife and I came for a quick one-night stay, arriving after 11:00 PM. Initially we were surprised that our room didn't have a window, as the advertisement certainly did. We arrived late and were looking forward to a hot shower - none forthcoming, as there was no hot water (later we learned the hot water wasn't turned on for our room). Worse, the bathroom drain was clogged, flooding the bathroom. We told staff and they said someone would help in the morning, but by 10:00 AM no help had arrived as we were leaving. The room was also located in a noisy location on the first floor and we were awoken quite early by noise in the lobby.

The location is superb. Literally at the center of everything and near loads of coffee shops. Most are within walking distance. Not many nearby groceries but it has a 711 a few corners down. Love that there are many towels. Room is big so we can actually move around with our luggage without issues. Staff are lovely lovely people. It's very dark in the room for some reasons, light are warm or something but we tried turning on all lights and still dark. Bit expensive too and the telly doesn't work in our room. The cabinet smells a bit sweaty so reckon there's a wet sock that had been left there by a few previous guests. Didn't really use it so didn't mind. No one's in the reception when we were checking out so we are a bit at a loss for around 15-ish minutes but understandable as we checked out around noon.
