The location, the comfort, the cleanliness. The staff members are exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was clean and well appointed, with a view of the city.

Photos are not as accurate, the room seemed a bit old and not that well taken care of.

The staff were excellent. Very helpfull, clear in explaining in english language. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and complete. Also the location is pretty good. Not too busy, however centrally located to the more busy streets nice for shopping and eating. It is also nearby most attractions. I would recommend this place. Not applicable

We book on average 90+ hotel nights a year via this and other booking platforms. There are always surprises; good and bad. This hotel was one of the worst surprises ever - it actually made us laugh. The hotel advertises itself as a luxurious 4 stars, with regular nightly rates of 300+ USD (and with special discounts, of course). Just for reference: we paid around 52 USD for our one night stay. The photos are amazing (as are some of the reviews, surprisingly). We really were looking forward to a great stay, and booked extra nights for our return to Hanoi (which we immediately cancelled upon entering the room). The reality is that this is a shabby, small hotel, with cramped rooms, relatively dirty and moldy with poor maintenance. The reception staff was kind, communication was good (part of their amazing marketing) and breakfast was totally okay for a 2 stars hotel. On the bright side, it made for a family joke and a story to tell all of our friends. It is not every day that we fall for such fraudulent marketing. Adding insult to injury, in their reply to our review, the hotel claim that we requested a complimentary stay, which is a blatant lie. The hotel employees pestered me for weeks by WhatsApp to delete my review. Even after blocking their number, they started communicating using another number. We really felt ridiculous that we fell for the marketing scheme, despite of all our years of experience.

The Staff and location were great. The breakfast was good. I sent cloths to be laundered with 3 linen shirts and 2 cotton shirts to be ironed. The cloths were returned with nothing ironed. It could have been a communication problem between me and the hotel or the hotel and the laundry. On the good side, it was a great price for the amount of laundry.

The staff was exceptional and so welcoming. Hotel needs a refresh, shower slippers had mold, in-room flip flops were not clean, room was so small and the pictures don’t accurately reflect the size, AC flap was broken, flies in breakfast food

Our stay at the Golden Amour Hotel in Hanoi was nothing short of exceptional. While it may be a 4-star hotel, the level of service truly felt like a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable and well taken care of. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with a great variety to start the day right. What really stood out, though, was the attentiveness and warmth of the staff, they were always ready to help with a smile. A special mention to the front desk team, who were incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for local food, must-see attractions, and things to do around the city. Their guidance made exploring Hanoi so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel’s location in the Old Quarter was another highlight. Being right in the heart of Hanoi’s historic district meant we were surrounded by vibrant streets, amazing street food, and cultural landmarks, all within walking distance. It gave us a real sense of the city’s charm and energy. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Hanoi. I would highly recommend Golden Amour Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and truly outstanding service. Nothing

Staff were very kind and accommodating. Comfortable beds. Excellent location near the old town and cathedral but quiet street. Shower pressure and hot water could be a bit stronger but may just be our preference

The hotel is beautiful, they helped us with absolutely everything we needed - nothing was too big an ask. The staff is incredibly kind, especially Richard and Hanna who were extremely welcoming. The rooms are beautiful!

Friendly staff
