Black Mould, shower had broken fitting. Bad tiling. No kettle, iron or Breakfast.

Rooms not clean, old bathroom, elevator smells like piss

We like the location in the old town. It was busy, but interesting. The staff at the hotel go out of their way to be helpful. It is the only hotel we have stayed in that changes the towels daily, empties the garbage, and supplies fresh bottles of water.

The bed was terrible

The rooms were clean and it was easy to communicate with staff via the Booking.com messaging service. The female staff member gave me some great recommendations about things to do in Hanoi and pointed them all out to me on a map which was really helpful. The location is right in the action of the Old Quarter if that's what you're looking for. This was the only place I stayed in Vietnam where it felt like I was being a bit scammed for my money. First of all, they offer an airport transfer service for $19 USD (which I took) but fail to mention that a taxi is about half of that price and just as convenient. Then, I paid up front for three separate stints at the hotel, but was never refunded despite having my room downgraded on the second stint and cancelling one night of the third stint (which I was entitled to on Booking.com). Also, the manager kept telling me right when I arrived that the tours I had already booked in Vietnam were overpriced and that he could get me a better deal, but I ended up being very happy with those tours. It felt like he was just trying to get a commission from a tour he was affiliated with. The rooms themselves are pretty dated, and unless you're facing the street the windows are covered with blinds that don't roll up, so you don't get any sunlight. The shower took a long time to get hot in the morning. I left my bathing suit in my room after my first stay and messaged the hotel about it the same day to let them know. They said they would check but then never did and told me it was gone when I returned. The location is right in the heart of the Old Quarter which is fine if you're looking for that energy, but can also be pretty chaotic the second you step out the door. I think in hindsight I would stay a bit outside of the area and walk into it when I wanted. Based on everywhere else I stayed in Vietnam (which was great) this place was a miss for me.

The location was fantastic It was very damp, corners of the room had visible mold build up that smelled quite strong. Overall not a very relaxing environment to come back to, especially for the price we paid.

Wifi mostly didn't work, rooms a/c was dripping in front of the door. The hotel is right next to a street food stall so expect some smell in the hotel.

Walkie & Tommy were always helpful. They organized 2 private tours for us with a driver of their trust and we were very happy with the service! As for the location, it can't get much more central.

I had a large comfortable room, with a/c, wet bar, kettle and a safe. The hotel is very central and it’s easy to access all major attractions. Staff r all great, very helpful and interactive and English is spoken by all staff.

Staff r very engaging, friendly and helpful, my room was large, internet good and the hotel location was perfect, in the middle of the Old Quarter. It is great value for money and I’d certainly stay again.

The hotel offers not only exceptional accommodation but also convenient access to well-organized tours to top destinations such as Ha Giang, Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and even central Vietnam locations like Da Nang, Hue, and Hoi An. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive — their warm hospitality truly made me feel at home. Shout out to Tommy, Doha and Walkie, the best triple I have ever met. They treat you like family here. I was really comfortable, this is like my home away from home. The rooms are beautifully maintained and offer a high level of comfort. Occasionally, a few insects may find their way in, but this is to be expected in a tropical country like Vietnam and was never a major issue. Overall, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable and filled with memorable moments. I look forward to returning for a fourth visit soon. Nothing
