Very solid hotel in old quarter with super helpful staff. Nothing too fancy but did the job. Slight cleanliness things but really not much issue.

I think it’s the warm and welcoming people and staff. Even after we had already checked out, they continued to greet us with genuine smiles and kindness while we were still hanging around the lobby.

Very affordable and excellent value for the price. I’d also say the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. This isn’t a major downside, but since the hotel is located in a busy area with narrow streets, door-to-door taxi service isn’t always possible. You may need to walk a short distance to the nearest pickup or drop-off point.

I stayed there in total 3 times (but four different rooms due to a friend joining where we shared a private room). Tbh I liked the dorm rooms better than the actual private room since the room we were in was a bit outdated with the fridge not working and TV (YouTube) was taking a long time to load so we gave up eventually. Rooms were all always clean, good AC and staff is very friendly and always happy to help out! Breakfast is simple but I liked it - you choose from a menu and they cook it fresh for you! Only thing to note that 2 out of the 4 beds I slept in had a plastic cover around it so it was a bit noisy when turning in your sleep. But nothing that bothered me too much :)

It's indeed in a great location and accessible to pretty much everything. The WiFi is good and the breakfast is okay, though I expected more for the price. I remember booking a room with an attached bathroom, but they gave me a small room close to a common bathroom. The total price of my stay was also higher than other hotels with large rooms and private bathrooms. The photos are misleading, and I can say it's not worth at least the price I paid, imo.

Bed is not comfy and toilet is so small.

All the rooms are small, but they're comfortable and have good applicances and are clean. The location is the selling feature for this hotel.

Maybe breakfast was good but could have more variety.

Really nice central location. Good big lockers. Bed was clean. Hostel was really dirty. Holes in the floor, dirty, moldy. Did not want to use the shower, luckily i only stayed one night.

Felt like my home away from home. Staff is so friendly and love morning breakfast. Location is outstanding.

The location is in a great place. It's located in Old Quarter and the streets are live until 12AM. Even though they got partying places nearby to the hotel you won't hear any of the noises from outside. The bed was very clean and comfy. The bathrooms and toilets were very clean too. Definitely a great place to stay in Hanoi on a budget. Nothing

The price was great, the bed comfortable (though others may find it hard, I like it this way. I liked that the toilets were outside the room and there was a sink outside so my early rising was less annoying to others. The breakfast was very complete and tasty, especially for the low price. Staff helpful with booking inexpensive transportation. Not really a social dorm with activities and stuff, if you like that kind of thing. Lockers were a little tricky at first, but I got used to it. Loud bar a couple doors down which could be good or bad depending. ?

Tammy and the Staff are absolutely fantastic! They helped us with everything we needed. If you need help with tours and managing your stay, not only in Hanoi but in any other day-trip destination, she will help you to get the best deals and the best tours, help you with planning, transport, communication, and accommodate to your needs without being pushy. The breakfast was good, and they also organised a Christmas party with free beer and lollies. They definitely make you feel like part of the family. I totally recommend Hanoi Traveller House, hope I can come back in the future. Location is great if you like easy-to-find places to eat or party. The room are decent size and comfortable. The prices are great, and the washing service is excellent.

BREAKFAST ????? IS GOOD ? COFFEE ☕ & TEA ? AVAILABLE ALL DAY , CLOSE TO EVERYTHING BARS ???? RESTAURANTS NITE CLUBS , THEATERS ,TOUR AGENTS , SUPER MARKET , 7 11 & CIRCLE K MINI MARTS ARE EVERYWHERE. . MOTORCYCLE ?️ & SCOOTER ? RENTALS TOO ‼️‼️ FOR THE AMOUNT OF NOISE OUT SIDE MY ROOM WAS SURPRISINGLY QUIET ?

Great hostel with an excellent location. The place is very clean and well maintained, and the price is really reasonable for what you get. What made the stay even better was the amazing staff — they were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. I would definitely recommend this hostel and would stay here again.
