Grandvrio Hotel Miyajima Wakura

Great breakfast and dinner with a lot of variety. There is something for everyone. Various desserts and beverages also. Beautiful yukatas to use in the hotel. Enjoyed the onsen, very convenient. Really appreciate the shuttle service to the train station and the boat ride to Miyajima island. All is great, the only minor inconvenience is the distance to the train station. It is not too far, but if you have big luggage and the weather is hot, just be prepared for a bit of a walk getting there.

Location okay but everything closed early Thought it was on the island

Glad the property is off Miyajima island but just across it. Shuttles made things convenient but there is a big gap 11-2:30 that it did not run. That was very inconvenient because it rained and could not walk it back from the ferry station. The breakfast was outstanding with delightful ryokan bento boxes. Coffee and soft drinks were available most of the time with soft serve ice cream in the afternoon. Very generous hospitality! Gaps in shuttle service.

This has got to be one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at! The staff was amazing and so accomodating. We used the onsen and it was an amazing experience! The breakfast buffet (western and traditional japanese) was amazing. The views were stunning! The shuttle that takes you to the shuttle is a huge help heading back to our next place. The proximity to the ferry is something you can't beat. N/A

It overlooks the part of Hiroshima Bay between the island of Miyajima and the mainland. The lakeside view offers a view of the famous Tori gate at Itsukushima Shrine. The breakfast was lovely, the staff was great. The Onsen is well appointed and provides relaxation after hiking around the island. The location is a bit outside the city but within a 20-minute walk. No negatives.

Kind of far away from Miyajima train station to walk and too short for taxi.

Onsen, breakfast, free drinks, ice cream Infrequent shuttle schedule made access challenging if travelling by transit. Heat pump/ air conditioner was not working well.

The view was stunning. The Osen was nice. Free ice cream at 4.00pm Shuttle to and from the train station The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There aren't enough public spaces, for the number of guests. The bar area on the top floor is odd and depressing. The lighting in the reception area is too bright and it is not possible to see the view at night time.

Driving off can be a bit dangerous. Road in front of the hotel was very busy, but hotel fences blocked the views of oncoming traffic.

The opportunity to access refreshments in many parts of the hotel was a bonus, the onsen was amazing, the whole experience was worthwhile. The hotel and its experiences incl. breakfast were more traditional Access to the train station and ferry was problematic

The public onsen bath is amazing, with excellent view toward the Miyajima island, good for welcoming the sunrise! Rooms are spacious, the only downside is the bath does not have a bathtub, but it's also quite small shower room.

Good location and amazing views of the water and island. The bathroom was very loud and awkward. Also driving out of the parking lot was very difficult as the road is a main highway.

Onsen freely available to use, including useful amenities and refreshments after included which we didn't expect. Rooms are a good size and beds were comfy. It was very quiet and we slept well.
