It is close to the train station. It was filthy and felt more like a prison than a hostel. There is no common area. The kitchen was so filthy that we couldn't use it. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. There were splatters of something brown on the walls.

Passable

I had a roof and a bed. Very close to the train station The place was incredibly unhygienic, with the showers looking like they hadn’t been cleaned in years—literally. The atmosphere was poor and depressing, with no effort to make it feel welcoming or comfortable. Everything about the hostel felt cold and impersonal, like the bare minimum was done to keep it running. It left a very bad impression, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here; it isn't worth the money you pay.

I liked the fact that no one else was there. And the fact that it was very cheap. Comfy slippers. Safes although I didn't use them. Check-in until 11pm, you can come and go anytime. Very close to the station so quick walk. No staff - had to do a weird check in by myself. Make sure you have the exact amount because the change machine doesn't let you get 5 yen or 1 yen so I paid extra. Cold water and due to lack of staff I didn't feel comfortable leaving my room in my pajamas so didn't have a shower. Heating didn't work, but luckily bed was warm after a bit. Curtains didn't offer much privacy. No lights or charging ports in rooms. Didn't go into kitchen but there was a mildly strange smell and didn't look very clean. No place to leave baggage for the day if you get there before check-in. Would have liked a key for the door, you could only lock it from the inside. Wonder if that means someone could lock you out... but all of this was fine because it was ¥2025 which is about £10 so I didn't mind.

The location is good, communication with owner via booking was quick, WiFi was ok It is just not good - check in procedure obtained on paper is not clear, whole hotel is filthy. Mattress is bad. You have to put sheets on the bed, pillow and blanket. Toilets are not clean. Locking system of toilets is not working for most of them. You do not get key to room if there is more beds, so you just leave your things there in unlocked room anyone can get in. People do not close the main door properly so usually the hostel is open. The street outside is very very busy and noisy, earplugs are must have. We were bitten in night by mosquitoes (I hope). We were looking for an accommodation near ferry to be able to spend time on miyajima without having to travel 30 minutes from city centre. I saw the reviews and thought it should be ok for one night. But now I would just go 30 minutes to town or even pay for stay at the island. This accommodation is not worth it.

Pleasant

The staff was nice, letting us to do a bit earlier check in. The bed linen was clean, that was the only thing it was clean. The place was terrible. Very dirty.
-
The only thing that was good was that I was alone in my dorm, Moldy showers, dirty kitchen, no soap to wash hands anywhere
-
Ideal location, moments from the ferry, so you can stay late on the island without paying a fortune to stay there. Basic but comfortable.
-
The location is great, just near station, so you can easily walk there to visit Miyajima. The place is good for 1-2 nights, but not a longer stay, It was fairly clean. The beds were quite comfy. The equipment was very basic. There were no lockers in the room, so all our staff were on the floor (good that we were alone in the room).
-
I couldn’t have the chance to be inside the hostel because at the time of my check in no one sent me any email about the instructions, and yet they didn’t even contact me for any apology, and i was forced to book another hotel
-
It was quiet and calm No staff or guidence
-
It’s located very close to train stations and ferry station. So it’s very convenient if you want to go to Miyajima. Some of the facilities are pretty dirty and covered with mold. Also drying machine doesn’t work but still accepts money ?

Great Bathroom
-
just the location. I am aware it is a cheap hostel but the rooms are very tiny, and the entire place stinks, I did not move to another hotel because it was too late but I was quite happy to lose my money. This hostel can do much better in terms, of it being much cleaner and the mattresses much more comfortable.

Exceptional
-
It was exceptional and the time we spent at Hiroshima will be reserved as a good memories

Of course price is great for the stay. It could be cleaner and also it would be good to have separate trashcan in the room.

The location is perfect if you’re planning to go to Miyajima island. The price is nothing compared to accommodation options on the island, and the hostel is literally just 3 minutes away from the port. It’s not the best hostel I’ve stayed at, but they provide everything necessary, the staff reply very fast on the app and are helpful, and it’s very cheap. Not the cleanest but it didn’t bother me.
