The room had a wooden floor that creaked in some places. It was right next to a bus station so it was a bit noisy. And the shower had a shower curtain, which I personally don't really like.

great location, can walk everywhere. Very nice staff - I still can't believe I got a personal chef (I think I was the only guest at the time - early Jan) -- making me delicious eggs. Clean. Comfy. Would stay there again.

Good, central location and value for the money. Breakfast are good with fresh made eggs and all other essentials.

Our room was huge which was a welcome treat. The breakfast was amazing. As for location, you could walk to everything. It's an older building so be ready for some creaky floors.

I had a great stay, including a good vegan breakfast upon request. Location is very convenient and the rooms are spacious. It didn't bother me, but some traffic noise.

Nice Staff. Clean Rooms and toilet. Nice view towards the roadside. In the heart of the city. Walkable distance to most of the attractions in heidelberg

Excellent location and a great breakfast. Although it was a traditional old-school German hotel, it had all the amenities a traveler could expect, including an extremely comfortable bed. The shoe-shining machine was handy. There didn't seem to be an elevator, and my room was on the 3rd floor (the 4th floor in Germany). With luggage, the hike up to the room was a challenge but nothing too overwhelming. I recommend you bring a face towel.

Like many older buildings, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, so be prepared to schlep your bags up/down stairs. Hotel appeared dated with old carpeting and paint throughout.

The location was ideal and easily reached by bus from the train station. Also, the breakfast was good. The staff was not readily available for taking care of certain matters.

Breakfast choice was excellent and filling. Location was fifteen minute walk from main station, and close to the main shopping street and old town
