It had a lot of amenities, the tv, the cofe machine and even the fridge were really useful, and a lot more.

Breakfast was great

Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. I had a sudden 1 day change in my arrival, date, which was handled at no extra charge despite very limited room available. The room air quality could be improved by having one openable window ??

Hotel staff provided great information for being prepared to explore San Jose and Heredia. The train is a great option (very reliable and relatively quick) to get to San Jose. Heredia is a wonderful area to walk around. Staff provided accurate estimates for taxi costs. Breakfast was an option of white bread toast and butter/jam or cereal. Both come with a banana and coffee/tea. The rooms were noisy from street noise and wind so, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I traveled with two others (total of 3). When we booked, booking.com only had 2 person rooms listed, so we got two. In reality, both rooms had bed space for 4 (in one) and 5 (in the other). Might be worth booking directly with the property to avoid a similar issue. Despite this, the price was reasonable. My room was sunny and had a great view of the valley but my family's room was dark with limited windows. This ended up working out well because my family that stayed in the other room are light sleepers so were able to sleep in without light pollution but you don't know what you'll get.

Quiet, cute, family style hotel - you will enjoy the kindness from her host and simplicity of a quiet stay. Good parking and safe.

Great staff. Taking into account Covid19 related problems and restrictions, all the staff gives their best to keep hotel operation as good as possible (that is the main reason for my overall rating for this hotel) If you have something to do in Heredia City, this hotel has an excellent location. It is near many restaurants, 150m from a supermarket and a car rental site, 500m from Universidad Nacional, 700m from a small mall and a bank (where you can exchange US Dollars to Colones at good exchange rate - bring your passport). The street can be noisy at night (there is a bar in front of the hotel) and you may hear some noise when you are in you room. The mattress of the bed is just ok (could be more confortable).

Close to where we wanted to be. Quiet. A/C inside the room. The room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The room was Ok. The beds were not very comfortable. On our last day, I wanted to make use of the refrigerator inside the room and found out that it had mold and the microwave had some food spots. I should have said something about it but we were leaving the next morning...

I’m not sure if it was a miscommunication or if breakfast consisted of an apple, dry toast, jelly and coffee. I expected eggs and gallo pinto.

The staff were very friendly, and welcoming. Perfect location within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and University. The hotel is quiet and wifi strong for working remotely. Outside the hotel is city life.
