Clean room the only bad thing was the ac was leaking water

Best place to stay in Hermosa. Staff bend over backwards for you and offered an upgrade without being asked.

Exceptional

Staff, breakfast, & location was great, including check in/out. Room was clean, but old. Entire hotel could use a remodel. Also, rooms were loud from street noise & other guest rooms. Air conditioning unit smelled like mold, so didn’t use it even though it was 80 degrees outside.

The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. We ended up wanting to extend our stay one more night. Its location is so conveniently placed by restaurants and the beach. The balcony was so lovey and even being on the 2nd floor we could still still the water from a distance. The breakfast was always delicious and provided such a huge variety of options. Coffee was always fresh and the juice selection was our favorite. The only thing that was a surprise was the $15 dollar a day parking fee but I guess if you plan on leaving your car there its worth it.

Everything about my stay was perfect, the only issue was one of the staff members at the front desk. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful when we had a few questions about our reservation. Other than that the hotel was great.

The rooms were cleaned every day, and they did such a good job! The breakfast did not contain vegan milk, poultry sausage (rather than pork) or gluten free options. We asked for some, but the explanation was that the hotel has to follow Hilton food rules. Having just travelled to Europe prior to this CA beach trip, the lack of health foods and customer service on the continental breakfast was disappointing.

Basic but clean and friendly.

Hampton Inn is a great hotel to stay in Hermosa! Just a few blocks walk to the beach, the pier and shopping. A huge variety of restaurants within walking distance and a Trader Joes, grocery store, and a Starbucks just one block away. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfy. The fourth floor balcony was a great place to watch the sunset with pretty comfortable couches! We've stayed here 4 times over the years and will be back again soon!
