Golden Beach Hotel

We had a half-board: it was a variative dinner, with some specialities every evening, and base set of other meals. It is on a beach side, although need to pay separatelly for a sunbed on the beach. But you can use a pool on the roof with some amount of free sunbeds there.

The hotel stays beachfront, you can enjoy your breakfast with a Seaview. The room was a bit shabby, although cleaning/towels change was every day. The food in restaurant was ok, but nothing special. The beverages in the morning - for free, in the evening you need to pay. The beds and umbrella on the beach are also should be paid extra. What I like the most is personal, always smiling and trying to help by all means. All drinks with extra costs for dinner. Quite a tiny beach.

Decent breakfast and dinner, great location, clean. Hidden fees (20 euros for a safe and water at dinner costs extra) , we were downgraded from a triple room to a double room and weren’t compensated accordingly. Our valuables got locked inside the safe (that we payed extra for) and no one took accountability for the malfunction of the safe. We were told we arent allowed to bring in water to dinner and were forced to pay for it - false advertising (not really half board). Hotel beach not as advertised

Location of the hotel is perfect, next to the best beach, Golden Beach , in Hersonissos centar( not spacious and often crowded ) but 20 -30 minutes walk next to the sea, to the beautiful, spacious , peaceful , sand beaches Star and Melisi.. food is very delicious, breakfast always the same , but dinner differ and there was a salmon fish , perfect…And therrace of the restaurant has the perfect view, and we very often found available table there. The rooms looking on the sea ( side view ) are smoler, terrace on the 3th flour are from blocks and very tall , so if you are seating you can’ t see nothing and very small, the same like and the toilet and cabin for showering. The air conditioning is not working if the teracce dour is open and is very hot because of the sun side … We change the room for the second flour , no sea view, much spacious room , biger toilet and cabin.. much better and pritier

Good location,the food was not very diverse,the same every day aprox We couldnt take a shower because it wasn not presure of the water..we were a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and they put us in 2 different rooms not even close to each other

The property looks clean. Beds were good and staff was friendly. The evening food was very bad. They had mostly pork with some small things. als the cleaning in the room was net very good , but just ok.

Having the beach right outside ! The shower cubicle was too small Being a couple , we like to take shower together but it was a bit of a squeeze to get in there !

the priority is generally very convenient, easy to find and convenient for long and short stay. food is great, service staff is very friendly. the beach are is very narrow and generally you need to pay extra for sun loungers and umbrellas.

everything was as stated in the booking, there were no false promises, the food in the restaurant is very good, they provided a cot for the baby, the location is good the hotel does not have its own parking lot

the staff are very helpful courteous and friendly a bar is needed on pool floor, it’s too long to go down to lobby bar just to get a drink. although after complaining our group were then allowed to drink at the beach bar using our all inclusive bands I think all guest should be able to do this. we only got this after the 11 of us complained and showed the reception manager what booking.con says is included in our stay and after this has been read the hotel manager said we could drink there but to keep it to ourselves. food - there needs to be better hot options and more of it because if you get the second sitting for dinner there was always dishes that had ran out. we were given second dining time when we checked in which was fine but need to make sure all food options are still available but salad counter always fresh with lots of options pool needs to be open later than 7pm as there is no where to go in the hotel after this to sit in the sun so it was annoying being asked to leave the pool at 7 each day cleaners were excellent rooms were clean although musty smell when we first got them this went once balcony doors were open and beds were really comfortable any issues we raised were dealt with immediately and staff remained very professional at all times but it would of been nice if we didn’t have to bring things to their attention especially during the first few days marketing department need to check that what is advertised is actually what an all inclusive package includes and also think that as the hotel own the small beach in front of it that all inclusive customers should get their sun beds for free rather than €10 a day per couple we had an enjoyable 5 days and can only thank the staff for being so helpful
